Worst ever place stayed. Good view as advertised. Strong and rusty smell. Lots of bugs inside the room. We did not sleep whole night as bugs running quick on the floor and we even don’t remove any of our cloths and shoes. After few hour stay, whole body feel itch and start coughing at the morning we left. The smell was terrible. Booked 2 nights and left early next morning after sun rising. Find another place and paying double with no refund. Trip ruined after drive thousand of miles. Worst ever place!

Family has a few quiet clean cabins and adjacent rv hook up campsites. This is on the northern channel from Bras d'or Lake into the ocean. They also run twice daily boat tours to Bird Island where it may be possible to see puffins. Man of the house is a grump but the lady is delightful.

Don't let past negative reviews steer you away from staying here. Words can't describe how beautiful of a stay it was for my family and I. What a great way to truly enjoy Cape Breton. Staff were great and made us feel right at home. Thank you for the wonderful weekend. 10/10.

Nice location on Rt # 1 and had a pool table and pin ball machine but didn't work. Nice little gift shop but you must have a bunch of quarters for showering in the bathroom. Kinda expensive too. People were nice but not everyone.

This place is absolutely fantastic! The cottages are well spaced out and offer some privacy. I stayed in cottage 2A which has a huge private deck and sits 30 feet from the water! Plenty of seating everywhere, horseshoe pits, private firepits, and a wood shed with a few milk crates for carrying. Lots of apple trees on the property. Plenty of room for your dogs to run around and play. The cottage was very clean and had the essentials as well as cable TV. The staff was incredibly friendly and made it a great experience right off the bat! Couldn't be happier with our stay!

Had great stay here. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make us welcome. Our cottage had a great view of Kelly's Mountain. Lots of boats sailed past even a large cruise ship.

I had an excellent trip in my little cottage! The room was clean and very cute, had all the amenities I expected like tv, wi-fi, etc. Service was wonderful, and I highly recommend going on the boat tour!

Hi Sheila, Thanks for your replying. The musty smell is so strong, all 3 of us feels uncomfortable after 1 night stay. We are camping all summer and understand moth is normal. But in the room, it’s not only mosh. It’s all different kind of bugs, one of that we saw is moving super quick under the bed. We used insect repellent spray and none of us could sleep because we afraid these bugs will run on us when we sleep. The room is highly recommend for disinfection.
