Initially, the consultant was polite and explained the process to me in detail. I appreciate her patience and the time she took to answer all my questions. However, things took a turn when she sent me an email requesting an initial payment of $750 USD. I informed her that I needed 5 days to think it over, as applying for permanent residency is a significant decision and $750 is not a small amount. Her tone immediately changed. She became pushy, like a salesperson, and informed me that she couldn't hold the spot for more than 24 to 48 hours. I have spoken to immigration consultants in Australia and New Zealand before, and I have never had such a negative experience. The practices they are engaging in are morally unethical, and they should be held to higher moral standards in their operations.
