Always a pleasure. If I can’t find it anywhere else, I’m sure to find it at Sobeys. Today, I went through the customer service check out. It was around 1:30 or so. They were just swamped by the post farmers market crowd. The very nice young woman was so great with the flood of people coming through at once. Very fast and efficient. I forgot to catch her name. I’m still going to say “thank you”.Anticipating she will see this. It made my shopping experience. Not to mention I found everything I needed. At a very decent price. Had what we needed! Clean store with friendly staff!

Sobeys has the best meat sales, on pretty good quality meat. Problem is, they usually don't bring in any quantity of it, and the staff buy it all up. I have been here many times in the past, maybe once out of 10 times I actually got the product I went for. This time was no different, prime rib was on sale for a very good price, they had NONE! But, they put chicken (boneless, skinless breast) in its place, at a quite reasonable price(not at all, but, compared to todays normal prices, quite a deal) Even with that tho, the chicken must have been selling too quickly, so, they raised the price to slow sales?(My son had bought the chicken, told me about it, I went within a few hours( to see if the prime rib was there yet) I paid $1.00 more/kg tha him for the same chicken. Next time I went, chicken was even higher priced again.Ended up with a pretty good deal on several different meats that were on sale, but, no matter how many times I went back, there was never any of the promised prime rib available.

A great variety of grocery needs. Good selection of natural and diet restriction foods for gluten free but limited dairy free options outside of milks. Produce is fresh and bakery department has a variety of breads and delightful goodies!!

Hands down the best place to buy fresh fruit. Always has product displayed nicely and easy to find. I don’t think I’ve ever stood in line for more than a couple mins, even during peak hours.

Shelf full of bananas going bad with boxes of new ones , asked male if they reduce the black bananas, he said no we throw in the garbage. What a waste, as all the other stores reduce the produce going bad, still make money off the produce and keeps it out of landfill and some awesome banana bread could be made. Shame they just throw it in the garbage!
