Sharlene is so great to deal with for the puppy-buying process, sending cute pics and videos and also giving great tips and info on how to prepare for your puppy. We heard about Adamsway from a friend who bought the cutest havanese puppy from them. Highly recommend!

Lauri Anderson:In 2004 I bought 2 lab puppies and a good friend bought another all from the same litter. My 2 both had level 3 hip dysplasia and my friends also had a health issued that required surgery to repair it.Response:-Labradors, as well as many other large breeds are prone to hip issues. All breeding dogs from this kennel underwent examinations that ensured that the parents did not have hip issues which decreases the likelihood that it would be passed on to their offspring. As with humans, it is not possible to fully breed out these very common health issues.Lauri Anderson:The worse part was we had no breeder support or compensation. My labs past away in 2017. I loved them and cared for their handicap. I would not wish that expense on any one.Response:-13 years falls within the average lifespan of Labradors 10-14 year expectancy. Also, Pet insurance is what most people invest in when they buy an animal that has clear and identifiable hip issues within that certain breed.Lauri Anderson:On their web site it says there new breed of dogs are raised in a house. My labs born in January were in a cold barn. Buyer Beware!Response:-Raised in a cold barn?? The Kennel had heated floors and a 5 acre play area to allow the dogs to roam and excercise. It was never let on that they were raised in a house. You obviously visited the Kennel before you purchased your 2 dogs and recommend them to your friends.I find it hard to believe that you aren't just a disgruntled customer that was upset that they had to pay their Vet bills (part of the responsibility of owning a pet).**You also signed an agreement that states that the Breeder doesn’t cover hip and eye issues as these are very common issues amongst this breed. You had full informed consent before buying the puppy which can be confirmed by reading your contract. You had to fully agree with the chance of these issues arising or the purchase would not have been completed.

Darcy Adam's. 1 dog from a litter is far more acceptable that 2 from the same litter. Plus a third from that same litter that had medical issues requiring surgery I had insurance that did not cover hips. Bottom line it was more the fact that both my dogs had it They did live a full life because I'm a excellent dog owner. Face the fact it should be rare in my case it,was far fromAs to support I was only looking for advice and to notify you of their condition. I was just ignored as if it didn't matter. If I was a breeder I'd be very thankful for the info and supportive in anyway I could. The lack of support is what prompted this review. My labs were perfect in every other way and loved completely. In 2004 I bought 2 lab puppies and a good friend bought another all from the same litter. My 2 both had level 3 hip dysplasia and my friends also had a health issued that required surgery to repair it. The worse part was we had no breeder support or compensation.
