I've been going to save-on-foods since I was a baby with my mom. I never realized how expensive it was until we moved out of Langely to Burnaby where there more safeways and other grocery stores. One thing I like is that Save-On is Canadian. But because it's not as popular as Safeway or Walmart (which are American), the price is very high. Even worse, there isn't any reward system like airmiles where you can redeem gift cards or products. You can only get discounts with the reward points. At this store, I don't like how there are barely any staff visible to help. I'm always needing assistance finding ingredients- and to make it worse there isn't anybody in sight except customer service and cashier. However, the staff are really nice. Mark, and (most of) the other guys are always willing to help (though it is their job lol). But the variety isn't as wide as I thought. I only come here because it's close and because of good memories.

Come to this place often. I noticed on few occasions they have undercover security this guy is a high strung individual with what it looks like some sort of heavy duty vest underneath his jacket mean mugging certain people and chasing them around the store like a bad smell on a pair of dirty underwear. This guy is completely out to lunch something straight out of Saturday night live. That being said it really makes it a very awkward shopping experience. I guess maybe the management wants certain people to feel uncomfortable while browsing the store. I think I will just stick to Safeway up the street with out the navy seal running around the store looking for action.. grocery shopping is supposed to be relaxing..

Love shopping here. It’s close to home, clean, well stocked and knowledgeable friendly staff. Only constructive criticism is the bakery staff do not always have knowledge of basic goods such as what pound cake is is and once I called to order a cake they normally have and was told did not know what it was and to call back although I gave the correct name. I called back to speak with the customer service desk and problem solved

Community supermarket in Coquitlam in the shopping centre here with a range of general groceries. Good butcher and fresh foods section. Had a pharmacy and parking is included

SAVE ON is on the high end of pricing. However, the quality and selection are better than most grocery stores in the area. I would definitely get a save on more card to get points and save money. Alot of the deals here are buy-in bulk and Western family products (save on brand products). I would generally recommend you go to Superstore for big shops and Save On for specialty goods or if you are in a rush.

This used to be a 5 star review, but I changed it because Save-On is just taking advantage of the elderly and disabled with their high prices. They are the only grocery store in the area that delivers groceries and the only option for many disabled people and seniors, but their prices are $2+ higher per item than any other grocery store in the area. I am also consistently delivered wilted and rotting produce, especially fresh herbs and greens, and sure I can get a refund, but that's food lost for the week and I can't simply go out again and replace it. I wish I wasn't in a wheelchair so I didn't have to shop at save on foods. Stop padding your CEO's pockets at the expensive of the poorest in our society.

While Save-On might seem more expensive in comparison to other grocery stores such as Safeway, the elevated price is certainly justified by the superior quality of their products, particularly the produce. Furthermore, they provide a broader selection of food items, catering to diverse culinary tastes and preferences. What truly sets this store apart is the commendable dedication and warmth of their staff and management. Visitors are consistently met with a friendly welcome, indicative of the positive store culture fostered by a management team that visibly values their store and staff. The employees are always ready and eager to assist shoppers in locating any item, ensuring a seamless shopping experience. This Save-On location stands out as a fantastic shopping destination.
