Now 4 months later I feel great. I had never been a regular at a gym, but the staff is amazingly friendly and the gym is cleaner than any of its pricey competitors. The classes are adjusted to all fitness levels and the routines are changed on a daily basis, so you'll never get bored or complaisant with the classes. I felt welcomed there since I was not mocked or made feel guilty for being not being fit and was complimented every time I made some improvement.So far I only have compliments for this facility and its incredible staff.

Equipment was very poorly maintained (dumbells had bent handles, treadmills were regularly unusable) and there was not enough of it to go around. General atmosphere was not for people serious about fitness but more for stay at home wives who want to play" at working out but really participate in a social club. Customer service was also incredibly poor with the customer generally treated as automatically wrong when anything wasn't to the liking of him/her. I also regularly saw various bugs and pests in the building and left multiple notes but after 2 months did not see any change. And yes

Shoddy equipment, when there was actually any available. The trainer" was having her beginner level participants do advanced level exercises at their first class. The owner tries to make it impossible to actually terminate a membership and forces you to jump through all kinds of hoops just to stop charging you. At $30 a month for a membership (at the time I signed up) the cost is higher than other gyms within driving distance. Just go somewhere else if you actually want to get your money's worth."
