September 27, 2021 Enjoyed a picnic on a beautiful evening. The park is going through some upgrades that were sorely needed. It’s still a great park and once the renovation are done it will be even better. Lots of green spaces and trails to walk around on. There is a brand new Frisbee Golf ⛳️ course.Love this park. I have been coming here for years and have always enjoyed the experience. The park is right beside the North Saskatchewan River. There is washroom facilities available. There is lots of parking. Plenty of park benches and picnic tables are available. There is a sheltered picnic area that you can rent. I love this park and definitely recommend coming here for a relaxing stroll or picnic.

Weekends are overcrowded, a beautiful place for walking and cycling, barbecue pits and tables are present for groups. Lots of Goose and ducks are present, trout ponds are stocked with rainbow trout, you can go fishing on the North Saskatchewan River too.

Beautiful scenery, river walks, pond walks a wonderful touch of nature in the city.

Very nice park.Been going there for 25 years.But now the park attendants don't cut the grass as much they would rather drive around or see them sitting around collecting their checks!

This is a really nice park to visit especially in summer. There are lots of birds both on the water as well as on tree which adds to the ambience. Lots of squirrels and chipmunks going about their business. You can spend time watching their behaviours. There is a trail along the lake where you can go for a walk. I usually go there to watch the birds especially in the feeders. Quite a variety shows up. Like me there is quite a big contingent of bird lovers who visit the feeders daily, even on the harshest of winter days. There is also an off leash dog park on the north side of the park. That's another reason to visit this park if you have a pet dog. There are washroom facilities too. So overall this is a nice piece of greenery within the city limits.
