Very nice walk with many places to stop, rest, and enjoy the view. Very clean and well maintained, a forest in the middle of a pleasant neighborhood. There's steps that lead all the way to deer lake.

Located at midway of Deer Lake Park and Oakland/Royal Oak intersection. Keep going NE and one will arrive at the Deer Lake Park trail. A small park though. With pretty gardening and some playing facilities for kids.
