Nice people and lots of different dogs come. Large areas for them to play as well. Easy to get to as well.

Haven't been in a year because of the behavior of some dog owners. Not picking up , leaving garbage , cigarette butts and letting dogs dig huge holes.. and basically not watching their dogs. And letting dogs run loose before getting in the fenced area.. I checked the Facebook page and it seems nothings changed.

Lots of running room in two fenced areas with no leashes, also trails to walk lots of pups to play with at certain times of day.

Signs should be posted that the small dog park is for small dogs and the large dog park is for larger dogs. Smaller less than 15 pound dogs can easily be run over and rolled by larger 40 plus pound dogs causing injury. Also signs up to remind people to close the gates behind them. Leaving the gates open could cause wild life like deer, skunks, porcupine to enter the enclosures especially during the night or early morning. If the animal comes through the open gate and can not leave by the same way, because someone has come into the enclosure with their dog and closed the gate, it could be a stressful situation or injury.

Hanover Rotary Dog Park
Took our Mini Schnauzer to the small dog park in Hanover. He is 1. Yr. Old and absolutely loved the freedom of running around the park off leash. We were too early so there was o other dogs to olay with for a while. About 45min. later a fellow and his lovely Shitzu arrived. Robbie tried to play but she was more interested in being peted by us than playing. She is only 4mths. older Robbie but no matter how hard he tried she would not play. Oh well maybe next time.
