Eatonville Hiking Trail
One of the best trail I visited in my life. There was nobody at all when we were here. It's small trail, but the views are breathtaking!! Highly recommended

Eatonville Hiking Trail
This trail is family - accessible with clear map and direction. The trail systems is wide and well maintained leading to professionally engineered viewing platforms providing breath taking scenes. Even the social distancing sign were up along the platforms too. Thank you for the Nova Scotia government that there is no charge to hike on the Eatonville Hiking Trail. The walking distance between each look off is about 10 to 15 mins. Each viewing platform has well written lookoff sign and spectacular view.Looking at the actual scenery and the description from the Lookoff sign, made me appreciate the history and the nature more.Surprised that Eatonville harbor was once a very busy shipbuilding and lumbering center harbor century ago.The trail has 2 loops total return distance less than 6km.Three Sisters Trail Look Off Loop 1-4:#1. Anderson's Cove, #2. Eatonville Harbour, #3. Sea Stacks and the finale #4. Three Sisters. The sunset is unbearable there. This return trip is approximately 2.6 km. We can return to the parking area in less than 30 minutes after sunset.Squally Point Trail Look Off Loop 5-6:The high light of this loop is the first stop, going down to the beach, waking along the Squally Point Shoreline, looking at the Three Sisters and Squally Point platform. Stacking some rocks, taking tons of pictures, dipping my feet into the refreshing water, walking on the pebbles, climbing some rocks, looking at the campers kayaking along the peaceful seashore. I don't mind to stay there for the whole day. But we do want to check out the look off 5 & 6. The boardwalk viewing platforms are 100% worth to visit, which offer you an amazing significant geological scenic features. Look Off #5. Squally Point Shoreline, Look Off #6. Squally Point. On a nice weather day, we can see New Brunswick on the other side of the Bay of Fundy. This loop is approximately 3.5 km.Some information was suggested to travel the West Apple River Road to the entrance at the Eatonville Day Use Park. But the road was closed for some reason. We drove from the Eatonville Visitors Center to the Day Use Park via the Eatonville Road. The Eatonville road is pretty rough, good for ATV not for normal city cars.
