Brudenell River Provincial Park
Definitely one of our favorite places on our trip to PEI. Staff was very friendly, the sites were spacious and well laid-out, and we enjoyed a nice walk on the hiking trail (despite having to navigate around a few blowdowns courtesy of Hurricane Dorian). Washrooms and showers were clean and functional.

Absolutely amazing Provincial Park! Where do I start!? Provincial Parks on PEI are free to enter! Wow! Camping prices are very reasonable and comparable to other province's parks. We enjoyed the swimming pool open 11am-7pm, the beach, walking around (no hiking trails maintained anymore but we found one), the bridge, the children's activities (4 or 5 university students running programs), and pony rides. There are trail rides on horses as well ($40 per rider). Firewood was under $5. The staff were all super friendly! We stayed in a 2-way site across the bridge. It was so quiet with not many campers around during the week. Even on weekends, it was not very busy and was quiet. We are used to completely full and noisier campgrounds in Saskatchewan. I would have loved to stay here our entire time on the island but we only booked 7 nights! Overall, this was an excellent home base for travel throughout the East side of PEI!

Awesome staff, handled a tough situation like true professionals. Would happily go back the next time we are on the island.

Good generally but nothing out of the ordinary. Roads could use some work.

As a couple we have gone to this park the last couple years as my husband fishes so we stay two weeks. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Park is always so clean and beautiful. Prices are very reasonable . Privacy never an issue and always places just to walk around and enjoy.

Great place to take rookie campers like our family. Has clean facilities, warm pool, campsites in good condition. And no bears!

Brudenell River Provincial Park
This was easily one of the top ten campgrounds we have ever stayed at. Beautiful PEI nature was everywhere and we had a great time kayaking on the rivers nearby. However, the mosquitos were beyond anything we have experienced and we were not prepared. I am not sure if that was normal or just from the weather this year. We would go back for sure, but we will bring better bug defenses"."

Beautiful location on the Brudenell River.Worthy of note: this park and Campground is funded by taxation of all PEI residents, yet the prime campsites are occupied by the same seasonal tenants year after year. Why???

Great place to take your family to camp and play.Great place for walking on trails or the beach. Horse back riding on site and boat /kayak rentals also.Provincial campground is located beside a Rodds hotel and popular golf course that has been a fixture with the hotel and campground for many years.I really like the quiet peaceful feel to the parks at night in late summer.
