Amazing food!! Such a gem in Ottawa. This place has a variety of food that can fit any of your cravings.The mixed platter is perfect for any indecisive person who wants a bit of everything. The salad dressing is to die for!The clams in foil is soooo flavourful. The vermicelli is soaked with the broth. Super delicious! Definitely a must try!The ghost pepper wings are crispy. The flavours 10000% reminds me of China's KFC. But I have to say the wings aren't as spicy as I thought.The Tawainese popcorn chicken was also good.My only criticism is that all the food was a tad too salty. Overall a great experience.Edit: I tried the one stew pot with boneless chicken thighs. I selected mild but probably can select the spicy level above it. It was pretty good. The chicken thighs were super tender. The dish did lack a bit of flavour and for about $50, it was pretty small in portion. I would rate it 7/10.

Their food is nice with ả different and kind of good taste. We ordered noodles, rice and popcorn chicken. I would not say its going to be my favorite spot for dinner, maybe I could visit again; not my type of food taste. The service is average, they don’t serve all the ordered food together rather it comes in parts but the food was fresh and hot.

We ordered three things from Cumin and Pepper:- Taiwanese popcorn chicken. Nothing overly special but still good, maybe a 7/10- Wonton noodles with black garlic oil. Delicious. Handmade noodles are dense but delicious and fully cooked through, nice flavourful light soup base. Would get again.-Mix platter. This guy was disappointing. The skewers are very small, and while the beef and lamb were alright, the chicken was not great. I wouldn't order this again.Overall, go for the noodles, not the skewers. Gonna have to keep looking for a good skewer restaurant in Ottawa.

We came here because of the positive reviews, but were quite disappointed. Although the portions were quite large, the taste really didn't convince any of us (we ordered fried rice with veggies, and with chicken), the meat did not taste fresh. Biggest reason for low star rating was the washroom, which was surprisingly dirty and destroyed our appetite.

This restaurant is amazing.Highly recommend grilled chicken & rice, the sauce and veggie provide a fresh taste of spring, which is a perfect accompaniment to the grilled chicken.If you are a spicy lover, Signature Hot & Spicy ShabuShabu With noodle (also known as BoBo chicken) is your choice.Clams in foil is just so so.Things not recommended: Signature Chinese Grilled Cold noodle sheet.

Got the mix platter. The rice could have been better but everything else was really good. It was delivered via uber so I'll give the rice a pass.Platter has a little bit of everything. Skewers looks much smaller in person than pictures but there is enough variety of food here to fill you up.If your hungry than this is a def a meal to get =)I'll be trying other items on their menu and will post an update.

Great halal authentic Asian cuisine. This is not Hakka though so not your typical Asian halal food taste.We ordered the pepper beef udon, tepenyaki chicken with fried rice and mix skewer platter which was more than enough for 5 people. Everything was pretty decent, but the pepper beef was a little too spicy even though we requested normal spicy. So if you’re ordering might want to go with low spice level. Otherwise the udon was good!

We got the chicken thigh pot which I found to be subpar. It was quite goopy - the sauce had too much starch and came out very glutinous. Flavour wise it was okay but nothing special. I think the potatoes may have been frozen fries judging by the shape of it. But hey it works!Perhaps we should have ordered the other dryer items in the menu.

What a great little find! Food and quantity was amazing.. and the service was also great. The craft sodas were so good. My only note is that the floors of the restaurant were wet all-over from people's boots.. not very appealing for dine in.
