Island 22 Regional Park

Had a great experience here with our new pup. Lots of extras. We watched the sunset and walked the trails. Will be heading back!

Beautiful place, washrooms and dog park available, but definitely requires mosquito repellant in warm seasons.

Very enjoyable walking path and shoreline areas to walk. Scenic & quiet except when the fishing charters are coming in or heading out. They seem to be in a very big hurry(?)

The dog park is so big! Everyone for the most part keep it clean and keep an eye on there dogs. So far a great experience!

Stunning area along the water with breathtaking views of the mountains along with fabulous trails for a scenic hike.Excellent parking including boat ramp and launch.Be sure to use your GPS as it’s a wee bit of a challenge finding this magnificent area for newbies’ to the Chilliwack area.

Large parking lot with a decent amount of shaded spots.Quite a large, fenced portion for the off leash area! It has lots of grass and shade available, and enough space that you can go for a walk around it. There's also a covered area in the middle the picnic benches.Next to the dog park, you're right next to the river. If the water is high, most of the beach is quite small, and the current is fast. In one part there is a decent-sized sand bar with shallow water. Great for dogs to go swimming, although limited space if you want to keep to yourself. The sand is overall clean and has few rocks and sticks.Outside of that there is a small trail leading along the water up to the dyke. Also along the equestrian area.During this time of year (April-May) there's no beach nor safe spot along these trails to let your dog swim, but a few dipped spots they can go look at the water.

This dog park is in a great location, far enough from any roads and the gated portion of the park is expansive. You are also right beside the river which is such a beautiful view

Beautiful view from the riverside. Well kept boat launch, bicycle park and dog park. Equestrian facilities. It costs $5 to visit during the warm weather season, for everyone. I enjoy taking my dog here when its free. Loads of mosquitos.
