The Oak Door Steak and Seafood Restaurant
Had a lovely evening here as a group of 4. Beautifully decorated front and entrance, warmly welcomed as soon as we walked in. Dining area was very comfortable, nicely decorated, pleasant quiet dining even with a few groups around. We enjoyed wine and various menu items including two different pastas and the prime rib special. Everything was delicious. Hope to return soon.

My experience was amazing! The staff was excellent!! The server was amazing and hit every point. The bartender was excellent and knew the crowd. The only reason I could give a four star and not a five star is because, I think a restaurant in this category, should have homemade fries and pasta. If you do not serve gravy and ketchup then you should not serve frozen fries and grocery store pasta . Otherwise this place is excellent!!!

I came to town for business, didnt expect fine restaurants in the area, oohhh boy was i surprised, where to begin, the restaurant itself is an old hoise remodeled to a 5 star restaurant that makes you feel at home.The food, its AMAZING, 6 stars to the chef, have come in two days in a row, and the food is just better the next day, excelent flavor, the servings are just perfect, the quality of the food is above fresh, just amazing taste bite after bite.The service and attention is what you would expect just by being un Canada, always smiling, everyone is extreamly friendly and cortious, the owner makes the evening just perfect and the owner makes you feel at home, my server was on point with every recommendation and very friendly, just perfect evenings each night.

Had a lovely experience here. Set up a 15 person meal with the restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. They were very accommodating, adjusting their schedule to our special request and providing excellent personal service during our visit. Everything from the food to the drinks were well done and polished. I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice tasteful night out who are in the area or even if your an hour out (worth the drive).

The atmosphere is absolutely stunning in this beautiful chateau. This would be my third time dining at the Oak door in Pembroke. The food is quite good, I did order the spinach and beet salad which had a lot of oil added to the dressing and unfortunately that was all I was really able to taste. The presentation was lovely and the server was equally as lovely and friendly. It is a bit on the pricey side for the portion sizes that you receive. All in all it is very nice spot in Pembroke to dine with friends and family.

I had an incredible experience at the oak door. Kevin, my waiter took his time to explain the history of the building. Beer pairing with oysters! Amazing. The food, I had 16oz porterhouse done to perfectionI’ll be back soon!

I booked a table Thursday for a Friday dinner for my sister's birthday. They gave us a beautiful table and made us feel like we were royalty.Our waiter was professional to the extreme, not a norm for a small town restaurant. He defiantly went out of his way to make our evening great.From the appetizers to the desert it was an evening to remember. Thank you Oak Door!

We just celebrated our wedding at this fabulous Inn. We have had take-out before from the Pantry and were so impressed, that we wanted to have our small, intimate wedding here. Everything was beautiful! The amazing staff took care of every detail. They were courteous and very professional. Thank you to Lisa, for the most wonderful wedding experience. We will be back soon.

What a pleasant surprise to find such a gem in Pembroke. The Oak door is a step above and frankly rivals any fine dining in Ottawa. The prices are on the high side but the entire dining experience is worth what you pay. We had an incredible server (Kevin) that we will ask for in the future as he helped make the experience extra special. The food was outstanding. My husband had steak cooked to perfection and I had lobster pad thai which was simply delicious. This was our first time but it will definitely not be our last. If you are searching for an exquisite dining experience, this is the place!
