One of the most beautiful things in the park. Solidly constructed. So much happens around the bridge in terms of birds, people, and things to see. The plaque on the bridge reads: This rustic stone medieval bridge was constructed in 1889 as part of John Blair's landscape design for Beacon Hill Park.

There were at least 10 nests of Great Blue Herons nearby! Gorgeous area and easy walk from downtown.
