Love going here when I’m in town. Nice broth and they serve extra beef in their pho if you request it (and pay). The staff is also very friendly.

They brought out my iced coffee way too late. By the time I received it, I was already done eating, and I still had to wait for the coffee to finish dripping. I find they put a lot of condensed milk in their coffee than other places. But, the pho itself was good.

I was out in the west end near West Edmonton Mall, when I remembered that La Pagode is across the street from the mall in the same strip mall as McDonalds is.I had checked other peoples google reviews and people mentioned that the Pho and Spring Rolls were awesome.Anyone who reads my reviews knows that when I go for Pho I love to get some Spring Rolls too.I dropped into La Pagode after their lunch rush and ordered a Vietnamese coffee (you know the one that drips into a cup) which was $5.00, its not a great value but it’s a tasty gimmicky treat, so I often get one vs a cheaper can of pop.I also got a order of spring rolls which were $7.00 and a large Pho which was $16.00 (no green onion or veg on my Pho). The Spring Rolls were 3 larger spring rolls cut into half, they were very good and nice portion for $7.00, definitely worth ordering if you and another are enjoying a meal here together. The Pho I got with meatballs and thin sliced beef, the meatballs were good and the thin sliced beef was nice too. The broth on the soup was delicious as any other Pho restaurant I’ve been to in the city. The noodles though let me tell you, DELICIOUS. Pho noodles really are the king of noodles, like I think I like Ramen because Ramen looks delicious in Anime and I eat the red package nongshim at home, however Ramen noodles just disappoint compared to Pho noodles.La Pagodes noodles were the best Pho noodles I’ve had to date, there was a really great taste to their noodles that stands above other Pho places noodles. When paying I asked the worker if they make their noodles in house and they said they do, so maybe whoever makes their noodles was on top of their game that day.

It has served Edmontonians for many many years. Not the best, but above the average. It features a large menu, so you always can find something to eat.Be cautious, the portions are generous.

Went here for a quick lunch before shopping at West Ed. Restaurant is very spacious and has that Vietnamese diners vibe. I ordered spring rolls, hu tieu my tho (vietnamese dry noodle soup with pork and shrimp) and some ice coffee.- Food: Lovely fresh veggies. By no means had the best presentation, but the flavors were definitely there. The dry noodle soup was a little too oily and saucy for me, and the noodles were somewhat starchy. The broth is clear and complex like. Toppings (chasiu, shrimp and crab) were very delicious.- Service: Food came out after 5 minutes or so. The owner also took care of all my requests. Very friendly. Not at all a fancy place, but their menu is very diverse (has many viet food you can't usually find at a typical viet restaurant) and the food is delicious.

Had a good lunch with my coworker here. This is a no frills Chinese Vietnamese style restaurant so you have to adjust expectations accordingly. The restaurant layout was spacious with lots of seating and barriers to be mindful of health. We had good service and the food was cooked well and nicely portioned. They have many dishes I wanted to try so I will definitely return. The coffee was quite pleasant as well with a good balance of flavors.

Great sate beef soup. Best in Edmonton. Very friendly waitress. Good parking. Good prices. Clean washrooms. Clear menu. Food came quickly and hot. My wife doesn't like anything too spicy so the waitress suggested the vermicelli bowl and she loved it.

Just average for Vietnamese. Located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Portions are decent and prices are fair for Vietnamese food. Service was ok our drinks and food arrived quickly. Tried the Bun Bo Hue but would say it’s not the style I’m used to. Broth is overly spicy and greasy but lacking in flavour. Their grilled pork was a bit dry as well.

Food was ok, kind different than all the Vietnamese food I had before, I think the restaurant is Chinese/Vietnamese style
