UPDATE 2021: We used Penske again, and they were so helpful! Thank you, Simon!!March 2020 EXPERIENCE: We called at at 4:30pm because we needed a truck ASAP for the next morning so we could go get our son from UVic quickly (Covid-19). They couldn't help us that late, but without us asking, Vick called the Burnaby location and set us up. They called us to make the arrangements!! The fellow in Burnaby was just as helpful as Vick. Truck rental company with a great reputation in the U.S. Not sure why it is so bad in B.C. You go to the office during the posted hours, but they are closed. You call the local office, they transfer you to a different office in another city. Even then it's always an answering machine answering you; never ever a person. I even stopped and the mechanic in the service area gave me the number of the office in the other city. I refused to call and they lost a multi Thousand dollar contract.

We rented a 26’ box truck from these wonderful people, every part of the experience was top notch! The lady at the front counter was extremely helpful, funny and courteous. The truck itself was a dream to drive. And, the rental was way cheaper than any other rental company, including Uhaul. I highly recommend this business!
