Welcome to the Murney Tower Museum! | The Murney Tower Museum is a community museum operated by the Kingston Historical Society in partnership with Parks Canada since 1935. It is Kingston's oldest operating museum and part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Rideau Canal and Kingston Fortifications.

Great little piece of nicely preserved Canadian historical architecture. It’s technically free to get in but they take donations (suggested is $5). NOTE: there are 3 levels and the stairs to get up or down are very narrow.

A true treasure for Kingston and Canada! This well preserved Martello Tower tells the history of defending Canada in the mid-1800s. With three levels to explore and many displays with full descriptions, enjoy an hour or more at this must-see attraction!

Great little museum with a lot of history and fun facts. Definitely take up on the free tour guide option. Jimmy who was out your guide did an amazing job and made this a very informative and enjoyable experience. The surrounding area is very beautiful as well!
