My sons are very happy with this school.the teachers there support students and they help them no matter what

i went with people to the park and somebody was banging on the windows and a girl was screaming

This is my far one of the worst schools i have sent my kids too. The lack of attention from teachers and especially the Principal is beyond unacceptable. I would not recommend anyone to trust this school with their children. they do not report when your kids get hurt in school nor they they return phone calls for an explanation. I have happy i moved my child from the school and the neighbourhood. The TCDSB needs to do a serious review of this school and its staff

This school is horrible. As it was one of the closest schools in my neighborhood, I had decided to enrol my son in there for kindergarten. That was a mistake. he is smart but struggled. In other areas of learning. He was labelled a bad kid. And faculty would make fun of his hair. They clean he’s doing things that I just couldn’t believe, what they were saying and I didn’t like the way things are being handled. They would have me and my young son in meetings calling him bad and other things so he believed he was bad and started acting as so. The principal called children’s aid on me numerous amount of times for not signing papers that she thought I should sign to get my child on either medicine or whatever it was she said he needs.They visited my home and after making sure he was fine they told her she was bullying and abuseing her power and for her to respect my parents, all rights. I was horrified fast forward three years later at a different school receiving the proper help and I’ll have found out that he is on the low spectrum of autism. It’s still not perfect but at least I feel he is safe. That principal needs to be checked and the whole school needs to be re-evaluate. Even though so much time has passed the pain is still there and for him and me. And I think I’ll be calling the borde tomorrow.

Do not send your child/children to this school. This is the worst school my daughter ever attended. Whenever she came home from school she always had a frown on her face. In this review I will be especially talking about her Grade 8 experience.First of all, the students' behavior and the teacher not being able to keep them in control. It is very inappropriate especially for Grade 8 students. They are always screaming at lunch time while everyone is eating. Also there are some students taking food from other classmates. The school should tell the parents to give their child enough food for the day. Also, the students never have their mask on and are always using their cell phones. One day while the students were lining up they threw snow at each other and even when they got inside they still threw snow from the leftover snow they had in their hand. This is beyond unacceptable as teachers should be making their students behave.There is also a lot of bullying in this school. One time at gym, they were playing a class game of volleyball. My daughter was shielded by the volleyball as other students in her team jumped in to get the ball so that she wouldn’t be able to participate. For the teacher not being able to see what was happening is very unacceptable and what the students were doing to my daughter was very disrespectful too. In fact, my daughter is actually good at volleyball, so for her to be singled out like that is very rude.Now I will be talking about the teachers' attitude toward students. My daughter's Italian teacher said bad words right in front of the students and told my daughter and some of her classmates that they are cowards and a dead wing of a bird just because they are not participating and not understanding Italian. I am so glad that this teacher is not my daughter's Italian teacher anymore because that is very unsatisfying that I’m leaving my daughter in a school that does not take care and educate her properly. I will also be talking about another teacher that told his students that you are not supposed to have fun in school. This teacher singles out students of color and picks on them. His assignments are also too hard for Grade 8 students. From the assignments I’ve seen online they are high school student level.This school is very racist. A big example of this is when my daughter's friend who was black was asked more questions because they thought she stole. One of the students lost their phone and the principal was checking everyone's backpacks to see if they find the phone. When a white guy had a phone in his bag they didn’t ask him if that was his phone. However, when it came to my daughter's friend once they saw her phone they questioned her immediately. My daughter's friend didn’t even have the right phone case color as the one that was lost.For your child's happiness and safety do not send them to this school.
