Do you want “It’s a wonderful life” banking experience? Where the manager and loans officers and tellers actually know who you are? Where interest rates are great? Account insurance coverage is $200000 not $100000? Where lending is done with scrutiny? There is such a place…. It’s called Talka. So glad we found them.

Accused of missed payments, glitches in their system asking for payments from 6 months ago, terrible customer service, lied about my renewal period, so they could increase my mortgage rate.. just.. wow...

I love the old school style service of this bank. Extremely personal, friendly, and welcoming. It doesn't feel commercialized, and their fees and rates (and mortgage rebates) are great. Highly recommend!

Nice small bank. Staff very pleasant and welcoming. Bank features better than most credit unions and major banks. As close to free banking as free can get. I haven't seen a bank offer more. Great atmosphere. Recommend.
