Roberge Portes et Fenêtres

What an awful experience. They start at 8am, open the door themselves after only knocking once. Left the place a mess! I left for work around 9, leaving my boyfriend there as they continued to work. The clock was ticking and soon it became 11 and he had to go. Before he left though, he asked them to let the cats out of their cage before they left and put the curtains back up. We're on the lowest level (half above ground) of an apartment in a sketchy area of town. We'd rather not have people looking in our windows. I understand that may not be part of their job description, but they did say they would to my boyfriend. Anyways, the roommate gets home around 6 to find 1) the door unlocked and not closed properly 2) a mess of the place (furniture not put back, debris on the floor) 3) the cats have been in their cage for 10 hours and 4) the curtain rods on the floor.To boot all that, the landlord comes with a story about how the workers said to him a blonde had told them to leave it that way". Me being the only blonde of the group

Terrible experience.Installed a door and transom in a new addition. Even when it was first installed, it was extremely tight and you had to push hard in order to open and close. As the weather warmed we are now unable to open the door.We contacted Roberge in order to have them come back and they claimed the problem was due to movement in the addition and would only fix the problem if we paid them more. There has been no other signs of movement in the addition: there have been no cracks and all the other doors work seamlessly. Of course the more likely explanation is that it was installed too tight to begin with and the change in temperature made it impossible to open.Our experience has been awful. We have some experience with other door and window installers in the city. My advice is to use them instead.

Right at the beginning of my project I felt already a part of the Roberge's family. Denis, my go to, is just incredible. I was in the shop for almost 2 hours and he took to time to explain the inside and outs. I had so much questions but he really took the time. I would recommend this company but also Denis at Gatineau's office in a heart beat. Good job and thanks again for your support in this journey.

My experience with Roberge Portes et Fenêtres was great.Sale:Dominic Larcher explained their windows in great details. It shows he has experience. During the sale he was very relax and authentic. He did a follow up with no pressure.Installation:I told Dominic that great windows needed a very good installation team. I had the chance to get the supervisor Michel Rock and his team: Daniel and Marc. Michel is very organized, rational, principled and perfectionist. Roberge Windows Gatineau, just finished installing windows at our Quebec cottage. The job was extensive to say the least. It involved window installation on several floors with high ceilings, and enlargement of most windows.Claude/our salesperson’s support was invaluable. Claude suggested many improvements that we would not think of, and neither did our designer. Claude is very knowledgeable, a highly skilled professional that made himself available to us throughout the entire process, and even after the job was finished.Claude was not joking when he assured us that Roberge’s “A Team” will be installing and enlarging our windows. Martin and Ray were amazing! They completed the difficult installation with an amazing precision. We are extremely pleased with their workmanship! Receiving this level of workmanship doesn't happen often.All in all, we are very happy with the windows and the service we received. Awesome sales and installation “A +++ Team”. Product quality is poor and after sale service is simply bad. The office in Gatineau is really not listening their customer.

Went in their website ,they called me right back. Set an appointment to go in and visit showroom. Very nice showroom was greeted by Michel and his knowledge astounded me. He helped me select the best at a right cost point. I highly suggest this family ran company that's been in business since 1917!

The installation is going very smoothly. Jacques is amazingly efficient, professional and neat and he does top notch work. Installing 16 windows and two doors could have been very stressful but was easier than expected. The windows are beautiful , well made and substantial. Claude our sales rep was so nice to work with. He took the time to listen to what we wanted and made some very good suggestions to help us make well informed choices. Good value for an excellent quality and service . Thanks Roberge Gatineau !

Claude provided reassurance with my anxiety throughout the whole process. It’s a big decision for our 8 windows we replaced and our front door in the past, but the confidence in our decision with the quality of the products themselves and Claude’s personality combined, makes you feel like part of the Roberge family! We love our windows and front door.We are registered with the Government’s Greener Homes Program (our grant approval and interest free loan) that Claude provided amazing advice also on the do’s and don’ts that helped enormously in ensuring we chose correctly.I recommend Roberge Gatineau!Merci beaucoup!

Can't thank Yan @ Roberge Windows enough for his excellent customer service. Yan was not pushy, he gave me great advice on choosing the proper windows and my door. My whole house now has Roberge windows and door and what a difference! the quality is there, the lights come thru nicely. I've never had such an amazing door!!! The installer George's and Maxime were terrific. They are very clean, tidy and picked up after their work. THANK YOU very much Yan for everything, for making this a very pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend Roberge windows.
