Had Falafel and Eggplant sandwich was ok.. The bread is day old or two old , eggplant fried and refregidated. Falafel is two days old probably. As he makes the sandwich he microwave the eggplant and falafel for less than a minutes but they are still cold in the middle.Everything goes into the sandwich maker and voila your sandwich is toasted. Taste is ok a bit bitterness from the falafel as they getting oily from the microwave. For $9.52 I guess once a month it is fine.

The falafel plate is large and diverse. It's a good deal for the price. It could use a pita for the hummus. The hummus is bland compared to mine but pretty standard for commercial. The falafel were a bit dry but it was after rush time so maybe they are better earlier. They were still very flavourful. The service was friendly. It is in Eau Claire so it is more or less a food court kind of place. I definitely would eat here again. It was the best looking fast food in the place.

Wanted to try this place since we were at eau claire and it was a total disappointment. Beef kibbeh, potatoes and beef kabab skewer tasted like they were out of the freezer and simply warmed up. Salad was not fresh at all, the greens were wilted and on the verge of going bad. I always try new places with an open mind but unfortunately not a single item that we got was praise worthy.

We very much like the Iraqi Kabab, it was great and taste very good. The portions were good too and generous. We tried the chicken shawarma which was very good too. Will certainly go back again

If i can give a 0 star, i would have.Small portion half of what you could get in any other shawarma placeChicken not well marinated and dryNot enough sauce as well.You have a good chance to win an everyday customer. But you have to be generous and use fresh ingredients.

I was told once there are 27 different herbs and spices biting into this Shwarma. So tasty..have enjoyed so many lunches here.I have known the owner (Kamal) for many years....I appreciate his dedication to this location and food. You are one of the longest standing business's in that old mall and I really hope - Babylon Qithara - lives on in a new home somewhere else in Calgary after the demo. You have a customer for life here.Keep it going Kamal!

We loved the food!! It is very delicious and the portions are generous. They have a big variety of Mediterranean healthy food. The people are very welcoming. You have to try it! Definitely five stars.
