I visited here during a business trip to Smithers.I had gone to the restaurant multiple times.The first time the waiter took my drink order and clearly forgot.Another waitress notice me sitting for quite awhile and asked id even been helped. I told her I had ordered a drink but never got it and I was ready to have my order taken.Again, left sitting waiting for food, never was asked how everything was and then took along time before I got my bill.I thought it was a one off,Came back the next day.. slightly better service, but was surprised to hear that the waiter from the day before was actually the Manager.I thought I’d give it one last try,Unfortunately, this time I was very concerned to see waiter/ manager over serving two girls who went up to the bar ( already clearly drunk ) and proceeded to serve them a total of 5 tequilas each.As I sat there waiting for my order, then waiting for my food. I saw him proceeding to serve them many rounds to their table, to the point the group of girls were yelling and over sharing personal information... the drinks kept pouring and being delivered to the table.One man at the bar mentioned to the waiter that it was a lot of alcohol he was serving the girls. His response was “ I know, I just miss seeing people have fun.. their having fun. “At one point he was laughing with another customer about how drunk the girls where.As someone who managed a restaurant for a few years, I was pretty shocked.I was there for less then a hour and seen the two girls consume about 8-10 shots. Not to mention what ever they were served before I was seated.Very disappointed.

I had the Denver skillet for breakfast. It was alright. But it wasn't a skillet as it came on a plate that they had just put in the oven. It was all potatoes, with maybe 10 tiny pieces of ham, a couple slices of mushrooms and a teaspoon of onions and then had some cheese melted on it with a couple fried eggs thrown on top. Just wasn't what I was expecting.The service was also not the greatest. I felt like the servers were doing their best, but they seemed too busy doing all the other stuff required to run the place, the tables weren't clean, we didn't get cutlery, and when we asked for some it took like 5 minutes. It took probably 10min to get drinks, the other server came and asked us what we would like to drink because it was taking so long. I felt we were ignored as customers and when we tried to ask for things it was difficult to get their attention. I had to walk up to the bar to ask for more ketchup and our drinks were never refilled. But in saying all of that, the 2 of them did look very busy despite there not being a lot of customers. So I think the problem is from higher up.I would probably go somewhere else for breakfast if I had the choice. But the food isn't terrible. The experience is just kind of disappointing.

Great place to have coffee and breakfast. Me and my son enjoyed the pancakes and lovely staff brought colouring paper and pencils so my boy is entertained. How thoughtful! Highly recommend!

The portion sizes were extremely small. We got the main meals and when they arrived, looked like appetizers. We got short ribs $26, butter chicken with Naan bread $22, pizza $10, roasted carrots $9 and a coffee $3. The kids pizza was a great deal. Our entire bill was $75 for what's it the photo. The food was delicious, but price needs to be lowered or make it an actual meal. If we ever had to go back, we would only order the kids pizza. The atmosphere was great and service was fantastic as well. We were staying at the hotel and went in at 830 pm and didn't look busy

Noir was very expensive, small portions. Steak was luke warm, carrots were cold. Carrot cake in a jar was dry. Service wasn't horrible but it wasn't the greatest. Took a bit to get our drinks and a few of us were almost done supper before one of us even got their food. The Apple crumble was good.

It was a Sunday at supper time and the place was empty for a hotel restaurant. All menu items are a-la-carte and quite pricey as well. Although the food was well prepared it took an unusually long time to be served, While the server was polite, he appeared to be new to the position and unsure of his role. For a very small town, this attempt at haute cuisine falls far short of its mark. They need to go back to their roots

Food is good and most the staff is super nice! However I had this server I believe her name was Chelsea... she really needs to be wearing larger shirts and maybe looser pants. I did NOT enjoy my meal being ruined by seeing her stomach hanging out.Would not get this service where I’m from, and I would expect it held up in other parts of BC as well.

Quiet, great ambiance for a small town. Small portions and pricey, but very well plated. Like a Vancouver restaurant, but in Smithers. Probably not for everyone, but it was a nice birthday treat while on a work trip. I would go back again.

Dropped in while my vehicle was getting serviced and the food was excellent. The one waitress was kept busy but still took care of everyone. Full Covid protocols were in place and followed. Will definitely be back.

Let me start off by saying, this is one of the best breakfast places in Smithers. I travel to Smithers quite a bit for work, so I’ve tried a few places... nothing like this one. Their Steel cut oatmeal is a delight and also the veggie omelette! Not just the food, the ambience is also very good for a small town.
