The landlady has threatened us and harassed us multiple times during our short 2-month stay in her property. An extremely volatile person, who would bang on your door at around midnight, throw out your laundry into the garage, and remove utility (Internet) in a retaliatory manner. She also assured the use of certain amenities in the virtual tour, only to have her backtrack after we’ve moved in. DO NOT TRUST HER. The police have been called to this place multiple times, and they even said to film all interactions with her, since she has made false accusations against us. Not only that, she also made an attack on my racial background, which is appalling. This is an extremely stressful place to live in, not only because of the reasons listed above, but also because the landlady is loud and yells a lot, and can be heard from our unit. We have filed an LTB case against her, and encourage past tenants to do the same, because this is simply outrageous.

they didnt returned my security deposit without any reason.they said you just miss arranged the bedsheet.they are lier.

Please stay away from this woman's house. This woman has no credit. Maliciously skimming renter's deposit. I seriously doubt her rating is fake. She's like a crazy person. If you want a checkup the worst service and environment, please come.

Helen Bai has illegal/unenforceable provisions in her lease, such as having a security deposit, charging for overnight guests and disallowing landlord information from being posted publicly.She also operates 4 other guest homes, including 412 Spice Bush.In our case, Helen banged on the unit door at 11:45PM. She’s kicked a laundry basket. She attempted to prevent technicians from installing a utility. She's threatened to attack her tenants' careers, wrongfully claiming that the tenants are hacking her internet. She’s held up slippers (aggressively). Law enforcements had been involved multiple times. She’s likely going to make an accusatory response to this review. Without becoming defensive, I would simply recommend taking into account the reviews on the other HB Guest Homes before considering this place. On a balance of probability, what’s likely the truth?

Messy house, towels covering the floors, dirty cluttered kitchen, no use of bathtub mentioned in Guest House 4. You are staying in someone’s bedroom. She’s quite rude and the whole vibe of the place was awful. we decided to leave 10 minutes after arriving after the lady mad us pay a $300 security deposit. WAY over priced just to stay in a room in someone’s gross house. After deciding to leave after 10 minutes and asked for our money back she told us no that she spent a long time cleaning the room and couldn’t give us our $180 back. Will be looking into legal action. Ridiculous.

False advertising. This is a shared residential rental house, and you have to stay with owner’s relative. Dirty kitchen and wash room, lack of privacy.
