Academy Towing

I hit some ice on the hwy and ended up off the road and in pretty bad shape. Academy showed up right after the police, the driver was super kind. He was calming and the reassuring presence I didn't know I needed. Getting to my vehicle for personals was easy. The driver just happened to be there and checked in with me, which I appreciated.

After my first very scary car accident I was in on March 8 a witness called Academy towing. Within minutes Jeff and Nathan were there to the rescue and keep me calm-ish as much as they could reassuring me everything would be okay and had lots of patience while i waited for my parents to arrive to the scene. Being a 17 year old with the other party trying to place the blame is very scarry and jeff and nathan were extreamly helpful. After calling to make sure I was able to come get some stuff out of my car on March 10th I spoke to a lady as well as a supervisor who were both extreanly polite. Haven’t had a better experience with a tow company and will recommend to anyone in need to their vehicle being towed! Thank you again to Jeff and Nathan!!

I never knew about this company until I locked myself out of my car in Dartmouth in September. Dispatch informed me it was an extremally busy day and they could be there as soon as they could, but may be a few hours. To my surprise I received a call 15 mins Later to say a truck was on way. I was back on the road in a half hour. Since then I have used twice again for tows on work vehicles. Great down to earth staff. Keep up the great Work

Fast reliable and friendly! Been having issues with people parking in the loading zone where I deliver, they worked with bylaws and cleared the cars out! Highly recommend!

My car broke down in the middle of rush hour traffic in downtown Halifax... Academy Towing were awesome! They responded quickly and used iPhone technology to find me... Got my car loaded very efficiently and were super kind to me, keeping me safe while loading the vehicle and helping me get where I needed to be. They were knowledgeable about local mechanics and made payment simple. I will add these guys to my contacts!

These are scamming weasels. Closed all weekend to incur higher fees for storage. Funny how my nieces car was towed there perfectly running and then picked up with a blown engine. Claimed ignorance and charged her again to tow off the lot. Wanna get fleeced ???? Call Academy Towing it will happen guaranteed

Toyota Roadside Assistance was called. My tires were slashed. I received a call from Jeff and said he was on his way and when he would be there. Right on the time. Even when he called I knew I would like him. Friendly, like a buddy, went in truck with him. Said I should file a police report. Great chat. Took me right into the dealership. He then unloaded the car and came back in dealership to wish me luck and I gave him a hug. Jeff is a top notch and a gold mine for this towing company.
