This is a horrible place to send your children, many kids were cussing at teachers ans they also alound the smoking of marijuana" and the cooking of "heroine" . By far this is the best school for any aspiring kid that wants a future."

Tbh this is the dirtiest school I've ever been to. The walls are rusty and don't get me started on the chairs. They're so old and broken. Teachers get amazing chairs while the students ate forced to be in really awful chairs. The staff, it depends on your luck. You might find a really nice teacher for one class and the other class you get the rudest teacher to ever exist. I do not suggest this school unless it changes and by changing I mean more of the nice staff and better cleaning. As a student who is suppose to feel safe in an environment, I do not feel safe in this school...Edit: They don't have air conditioners and the weather inside the building gets as high as 30 degrees. If you want to have a stroke this is the perfect school for you ;)

Ridgemont is a good school for the people who doesn’t no English because the have a very amazing courses that can help you .

The school is fine to me, but the staffs...some of them are very nice and kind, but the ones that I met are very racist and rude. A teacher accusing me crating on the grade 9 to 11 English class and even the literacy test when she just had me for 2 weeks..hence I wanted to switch class but the person in the office who supposed to help me didn't, so I complained online, then he threated me by saying he won't let me graduate...

Graduated a year ago and this was a wonderful highschool where i made some of my best memories and best friends.

Good school. Some kids are trouble but the teachers do an outstanding job of shutting it down. All the “troubled” kids are wannabes who are quite harmless they act tough for fun. There is some vaping (as there is in quite literally every highschool in Ottawa) but there is no peer pressure and teachers really do well keeping it under control by giving each kid caught a consequence.Teachers are involved with helping the students no matter what the class size is. The bad reviews are students trying to be funny and diss their school, but to any parents reading this, I seriously think that this school has some of the best teachers when it comes to tracking students behavior and work as well as shutting down bullying.

Fond memories from the mid 1970s. At the time the school was highly rated for sports and team spirit. Have not been back for over 30 years as I live on Vancouver Island, a much better place than cold Ottaewa.
