The emergency on call phone line operator told me that unless you're a regular they won't even take your emergency. She then told me that's what the vet told her to say and hung up on me.Heartless. Not logical. Zero care for anyone.

My sister lives in Athabasca. Her dog became deathly ill, I called and tried to get her dog seen by a vet. Their response was NO not unless you are already a client. Where is your compassion? I asked if they knew anyplace I could take him as an emergency, once again their response was NO.

Sandy is wonderful! You will never find a better caring clinic as this one! Sandy will always be about the animals not the dollar. We had surgery done on our Great Dane and he is doing so well!! Our other animals go there as well. I trust her with my life! Sandy will always place her heart and expertise 150% for your animal! She is not only gifted to care for animals she is a true blessing for every animal owner! Thank you Sandy for all that you do!

Need to get my dog euthanized as he is very old and in pain. Apparently I wouldn't be able to be there with him in his last moments since I am not vaccinated. Even though those mandates were already lifte for everywhere else. So I'll be taking my dog to LLB instead where they said and quote it is none of their business whether or not I am vaccinated""

Unless your a CLIENT really. When people have to put down their loved pets because of an emergency and you say no because your not a client that just makes me sick. Suffer instead :( that to me is terrible service. Not a vet i would want caring for my pets at all.

We were visiting friends in Boyle when my 25 pound miniature schnauzer was mauled by a pitbull at 5:30 on Saturday evening and called this clinic as they were the closest vet. They were incredibly rude and heartless, my pet in my husbands arms bleeding everywhere, breathing shallowly, and they basically told me that because I wasn't a client, to get off the phone because I was keeping actual clients from calling in. Absolutely horrible. I honestly couldn't believe it. Ended up driving 2 hours to Sherwood Park. I've never felt so helpless. At least the clinic in Westlock tried in earnest to help us.
