Avis Car Rental

I rented a car there 2-3 weeks ago and very welcoming and perfect service renting again in 2 weeks can’t wait!

The call with the Gladstone manager was a surreal experience. He was manipulative and dismissive from the onset, it is incredible that someone with zero customer service skills could be in that position. I attempted to explain the situation and express myself but he literally kept cutting me off and trying to hang up! I literally had to keep saying ‘wait, wait’! I every time I said something specific, he would dismiss or change the subject like a child. It was terribly rude and unprofessional. On top of that, he immediately became defensive if I actually managed to get him to acknowledge one aspect of the issue – no attempt was made to explain anything, he just abruptly changed to conversation mid sentence. He also passed all responsibility to head office, denying any potential role or even explaining why. Impossible to resolve anything and torture to get any information out of him.Truly shameful on all accounts. I will never go back to Avis. Potential scam alert.

Well I don't think this car rental agency should be rated although I suggest google to add reversed rating functionality. Mine experience here is infinitely negative. I came here to rent a car with one of my friend we didn't step inside the office yet , and the guy came out highly unprofessionally with cigarette in his mouth saying you want a car. There was some problem in there system but they blamed me your card is not working and threw my credit card with Ra***l comments. Do not go to this place. My strong believe is there business will shut down very soon with this kind of customer service.

The manager is so arrogant and rude!Simple questions I was asking and he's just ignoring them. I've been to other Avis location and not treated like this. He's so not ready to help and look like he's been forced to work.Do better Avis!

I was able to get a last minute car for Labour Day weekend! The service was excellent. Extremely kind and friendly staff, quick service especially for a Holiday weekend, and the car was fancy! Brand new! Bose Speakers! Perfect vehicle made a perfect weekend! Thanks Avis! See you again soon!

Great customer service, made my rental experience comfortable

Friendly staff and easy drop-off point for those living around the area (there's a key-drop off section for after-hours car drop-off).Staff is friendly, and car selection is decent. However, the cars could do some better cleaning before being rented out.

The staff here are just amazing. Always looking out to be as helpful as they can. I can always ask questions regarding rental car size, car options etc. I will always be a returning customer here!

Great pick up location. Courteous staff, good clean vehicles and store front. I misplaced an item after a trip, I called them and they completed a full followup for the item in the car and contacted their lost and found as well. Will definitely rent from them again if in the downtown area
