Court of King’s Bench of Alberta

One clerk at Document Filing window. Ten people in line that made their way despite frigid outside temperature. No movement in twenty minutes. These are YOUR tax dollars at work, working hard for your benefit. The supervisor on duty should be disciplined and fined or his/her employment terminated. Drove halfway across town to experience this circus.

I’ve been calling every 10 minutes it hangs up so I have to call back!Horrific experience with this courthouse!

Level system is as crooked and unhelpful as banging my head against the wall but here are 2 clerks that know there jobs and are suuoer awesome and all the Sherri's etc are really nice

Waited 2 hours to file paperwork that is only available in person not online. There was 1 clerk sometimes two for a huge line. There were many people sitting in cubicles behind the front desk. When I asked if they can assist the rest of us waiting in line, the clerk told me to stop complaining and told me to contact the Mla as its their fault for the staff shortages. I left three messages prior asking questions about a specific document and no one called me back. Very frustrating. They need more staff there, more polite staff at that.

Absolutely horrible since covid started, came in just to pick up a divorce package that they use to have in a magazine rack, I have been waiting 2 hrs and they have only seen one person. I have to take the day off just to stand in line. They have 7 stations but one one is open , the best part three people and running that one station. God forbid they move over and help another person since there is 15 others tha have been waiting 2 hrs!

Not many staff for the amount of customers. Slow very slow service. Blond woman with a black face mask so very obnoxious. Close to third world service. Not good in my opinion.

Came here to file a document, and the clerk was very patronizing. Felt like she was deliberately asking me questions in a way that made me look as stupid as possible. Entire process was very confusing and difficult. If you ever come here, BE SURE TO DO YOUR RESEARCH AHEAD OF TIME! Otherwise, the clerks are absolutely gonna give you a hard time for it.Thankfully, the rest of the staff were very nice. Security was helpful in giving me directions to where I needed to go, and everyone I dealt with except for the clerk was very patient with me.

Court of King's Bench of Alberta is a mess !!! whoever oversees it should definitely be fired! The staff are clueless robots, rude with a nasty attitude and don't even know their own jobs or documents available. Let us not even talk about that mess of a Website!!! Documents are either hidden, missing, old or not updated. The Website tells you to reach out to the court's team for info on processing and forms needed but the staff does not know and don't seem to receive any training. Are we living in a 3rd world country??? Please let me know who is in charge so i can tell them to hire me so i can show them how to do things properly. It is not rocket science !!!

Reiterating other reviews. One wicket is open and there is a line up out the door. Dozens of staff walking past. No supervisor has the skill set clearly to see that more wickets need to be opened. People have taken time off work for assistance. At least at Home Sense the management is bright enough to add cashiers when the line up grows! Query to a staff member was met with “not my department” - clearly there is no work ethic either!
