Elizabeth Lake Lodge

My absolute favorite hotel ever. Rooms are always clean, there's never a speck of dust in sight in the many years I've stayed there. The beds are super soft and you fall asleep instantly. Even the staff are the friendliest I've seen. The outdoor space was much appreciated, with the barbeque and fire area along with picnic tables a wonderful touch. The mini-golf is always a nice late afternoon activity also.Overall it's always an amazing experience and I'd recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. Words just can't express my appreciation.

The owners of this lodge are beyond gracious and helpful. Very generous (a cheese plate was provided after a long day of traveling!!!) And kind. The rooms are quiet, clean, spacious and the best beds I've ever slept in!!

The warmest welcome in Cranbrook hands down. We had a gig in the city and we arrived very close to show open, but Rachel working that night was an absolute star. She was so helpful getting us another mattress in the room for an extra guest/s, an iron and ironing board for the show outfits and was even kind enough to give us a ride to the venue when a taxi wouldn’t arrive in time. She radiated kindness and really puts a heart in this hotel. Plus the rooms were up to date, cozy and most important of all SPOTLESS. I can’t say enough good things about this place and the staff and 100% will be staying here any time we’re back in town.

Wow! What a fabulous hotel! Our room was immaculate and comfy! So much room and everything we could possibly need! The service and friendliness were above and beyond. Great pet friendly location!

Don’t even know how to explain what an incredible place this is. How do I click higher than 5 star? This is 10 stars plus!!! This place is ABSOLUTE pride of ownership. Absolutely spotless clean… and I mean spotless, beautifully comfortable beds and did I mention heated bathroom floor tiles and towel rack? It was like you were the first person to have ever set foot in this room! You are escorted to your room, spotted for parking and then walked through your room to make sure everything is there to make you comfortable and to enjoy your stay. The added little extras are a complete enjoyment also! This was my second time staying here. I was sceptical thinking… could they possibly leave me in such aww a second time in a row? Well, they did not fail to impress. So incredibly impeccable. First time staying here was about 3 years prior. This time, I took my 85 year old mother with me and I told her, she would not believe how incredible this place was. She said I did not exaggerate about anything. She said she had never stayed at such a beautiful, spotless clean place in all her life and she has travelled an incredible amount in her life. She said there was absolutely nothing that wasn’t absolutely top notch, and I very much agree. It takes a complete crew to have a commitment to be able to achieve this level of perfection. I hope George, all his family and staff are EXTREMELY proud of this accomplishment! You all ABSOLUTELY deserve it. I can’t wait to pass through again, and I am looking forward to planning more than one night. My mom said, she hopes she is blessed with continued health so she too can also have the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful place again. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. This place was very helpful to me. My phone doesn't work in Canada so I couldn't do much more than go from motel to motel hoping to find one with a room available. Elizabeth Lake Lodge didn't have a room but did call around looking for one for me. There weren't any in town for a reasonable price but they knew of one a bit out of town and reserved it. I'll definitely stay with Elizabeth Lake Lodge next time I'm in Cranbrook.

We played a round of mini-golf while on vacation. It was super difficult but a lot of fun we had some good laughs.Staff were nice but pushy about their little consession stand.

I stayed here at the end of May and enjoyed the stay immensely. Heated bathroom floors were appreciated and the beds were pleasantly firm but not hard and there were a choice of pillow types. It was nice to sit outside and drink coffee in the morning and listen to the birds. There is a kitchenette for making quick and easy meals and a barbecue area if you need that. I don’t have a problem washing dishes. The location was great as we could cycle right from the lodge to many different trails.I didn’t hear any trains or traffic just happy birds. The mini golf and shaved ice stand was a great bonus. We would definitely stay here again and probably will. The owners and staff are fantastic and accommodating.

We had an excellent 2-night stay here. As soon as we arrived the owner showed us to the room and spent time to talk about local attractions. They have a nice fireplace outside in the back that is always on during the evening. Mini golf was fun and challenging. Beds and pillows were comfortable and rooms spacious. Our favourite feature of the room might've been the heated floor in the bathroom. We saw deer outside our hotel room window both nights. Next time we pass through Cranbrook we will for sure be staying here again.
