Frankie's Modern Diner
We came here for breakfast, and are glad we did. The service was great, and although it was busy, we didn't have to wait long for a table. The food was great, hot and plentiful, as was the coffee with free refills.

Just had the worst experience of our Alaska trip. The last cruise stop was Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. We took a bus into downtown and decided to eat at Frankie's Modern Diner, 12 of us. The young hostess informed us that although they could accommodate us, they would have to split us up into groups of 6 (2 tables). The reason: 12 of us is too much for 1 server to handle. I asked if we could have the 3 booths that were empty and side-by-side each other. The male host comes out and says: Hey

I loved Frankie's Modern Diner! The food, ambiance, service, and energy was absolutely incredible. Our waitress was super polite and friendly. The food was 11/10 delicious! As a burger conniseur, the Chicken Parmesan Burger was the best burger I've ever had. The portions were large and well worth the price; I actually left full which is out of the ordinary for me. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone and will have to return! I had an amazing experience.

Amazing diner with lots of options for vegan and vegetarian folks(even at 7am).We tried vegan dishes such as oatmilk pancakes and falafel hash and, both were really good. Have to give special shout out to falafel hash as that was something I never had before. Taste was really good and falafels were soft(not unnecessarily over fried).Staff was friendly and served us really well.

I literally had the best waffle of my life today. I had the banana praline waffle and it was magnificent! My husband had the churro waffle and he was in heaven. My son had the chicken and waffles for breakfast and he loved it! We had a great experience and the prices are very reasonable.

Today we had between 30-45 minutes for lunch and we didn’t want to eat fast food, so went to Frankie’s. The service was quick and fast, the food was delicious and prices reasonable. We ordered their special burger and prawn skillet. Will go there again.

Nice, casual, relaxing date atmosphere. Went there on a Monday afternoon and it was quiet & relaxing. Waitress was wonderful, I asked to be seated by the window because it was a beautiful day out and she kindly accommodated.We ordered...-calamari (4/5 was a little lacking in flavor, but great portion)-prawn skillet from the appetizer menu (5/5 for sure, so flavorful it was my favorite)-and I think I had the seafood linguine (4/5 definitely a lot of pasta compared to the amount of seafood actually given, flavor was a little lacking but still good)Definitely walked away full with leftovers, so it's worth it :)

Loved it at Frankie's Diner! The food was so delicious and the portions were very big. The curried penne with prawns, the arugula and beat salad, and the flourless chocolate cake were so amazing!! Will definitely be back soon
