I also don't understand the negative reviews of the RO's. I've been coming here now since January and have found the experience very warm and welcoming. The RO's do a great job of making me feel safe as well as being there to help and offer tips.Everyone I've interacted with at the PCDHFC so far has been awesome. I'd strongly recommend this range to anyone who is looking to explore their new love of shooting.

Excellent club, especially for beginners. Strict staff that maintains very high safety standards and makes sure no one is fooling around. For the intermediate level shooters you may get a professional advice on how to improve your stance or technique.

We need more of these places in the Vancouver area. They run a tight ship because of the cidiots, the political climate, and insurance.

My Family and I have been members for years. The range is professionally operated, safe and reasonably priced considering. Several range officers on site at all times. They have advanced courses should you wish to become holster certified or a RUC member that will allow you to use private areas of the range unsupervised.

I'm not really sure I understand the negative RO reviews but maybe I'm just a clever fella's with a basic ability to interact with other people. Every RO I have spoken to has been very clear and very nice, they helped me sight my new rifle without hesitation and also gave me some tips. The range itself is warm, and huge, 200m is a dream in such a suburban setting. The range is maintained and perfectly comfortable.I'm allowed to collect my brass after with no issues.I stapled my finger last time I was there, pretty sure that was my fault though. All in all I'm very happy with my membership, even going on a holiday it was very busy but I never felt unsafe. What I have noticed, though, is the odd idiot. I'm guessing said idiots go to the range expecting to be idiots and get away with being idiots, personally I prefer if my RO calls out said idiots as we are using firearms. But hey, maybe that is just me.Overall, I think the range is near perfect, if I had to critique I would ask for slightly higher tables (I noticed a lot of low crouches) or lower stools. I would also prefer if idiots were not allowed to attend, I mean if you complete an entire introductory course on etiquette and still fail to follow said etiquette something ain't right.Shout out to the older Asian RO for stamping my card and to the Aus/NZ RO for helping me sight my rifle.More sunshine and gunpowder this summer!

Became a member last week. I’ve had my PAL for almost a year and always shoot on crown land. This range is way closer than those crown land spots and that’s only one reason this range is better.-RO’s that I have met have been awesome.-Rules are clear and easy to follow.-I had an RO in my area the whole time and I was given a few tips that helped me shoot better. Important to note that I made it clear I would appreciate any tips or suggestions. I did not see RO’s hanging over people offering unsolicited advice. Again. They seem great.-I have very minimal range experience and by the end of a 3 hour session I felt extremely comfortable.-I am not a minority so maybe take this with a grain of salt but.. there are POC (people of colour) as RO’s and many if not majority of members I have seen are POC. Everyone seems to be treated as equals. I definitely don’t think this place is racist as I have seen other reviewers suggest. If it were I would gladly call them out for it.-I very much appreciate a strict atmosphere around firearms. The range is not a place to be goofing around. We all want to get home at the end of our session. Judging by what I have seen their cease fire operations are iron clad. When I was putting up/taking down targets I felt as safe as I do anywhere. Parking lots at the mall are more dangerous in my opinion ;)-Ample parking.I can’t wait to bring friends to introduce them to the sport at this facility.

This is by far the worst range I have ever had a membership at. They close the range when they feel, the office lady is rude and the range officers are useless and arrogant. NOT the range for anyone who wants a friendly welcoming place to learn and shoot.

As a new shooter, I really enjoyed this place on weekdays after work. Everyone was always willing to lend me a hand when needed. I instantly felt a strong sence of community here so I became a member, I now bring my family and friends here to participate and have had no issues with staff (the general public can be a whole other story lol) The staff has always been polite yet strict and on the same note, I'm 100% behind that because lets face it, we are dealing with live firearms and not everyone understands that concept. It's a bit of a trek from Vancouver but its well worth it if you enjoy the sport. Bring your own arms and ammo, you can bring your own targets as long as they don't have resemblance to a human, or you can buy targets and clays from the staff at range 7.Special thanks to the R.O.'s and other members for sharing their knowledge and helping me to learn how to properly sight in my rifles, your help was much appreciated.
