The Lavender Farm
Excellent place to hang out with friends, a good place to take some photos and buy some products at good prices. The barn is cozy and the lady who attended us was always very friendly

We got married at the Lavender Farm on June 11th, 2022! We were so impressed by Barb, Bob & Julie and all of their hard work on our wedding. Throughout the time we spent planning, the Gillies family were nothing but accommodating and helpful. We loved being able to customize everything about our wedding, and the day ended up being absolutely perfect!Julie (the venue coordinator) went above and beyond on wedding morning - We had a list of things to be done that day and were planning on sending my Dad to do a bunch of it, but by the time he got there, Julie had already done it! (Flawlessly, I might add)We can't say enough good things about the property AND the people - we loved our time there and it was absolutely the perfect backdrop for our laid-back and fun wedding. Our photos turned out perfectly and we'll definitely be back to take some family photos in the future!

It's a small area with lavender bushes. I was a little disappointed after seeing it because I drove all the way from Toronto just to see a small patch of lavender bushes. Therefore, I would recommend this place for those people who live close by or if someone wants take a stop over. However they do have farms with other stuff. Not sure what they're of & not sure if they can be accessed by the public.Entry fee is $5 per person which is not at all bad given there is nothing much to do.

We had our wedding at The Lavender Farm on 08.03.2019 and it was an amazing day! We first visited the farm in summer 2018 and were blown away by how beautiful and peaceful it is. We met Bob and Barb, and felt comfortable with how open, friendly, and kind they are. We love that it is a personal property, the lavender and landscape is beautiful, and the set-up between outside and inside the barn was exactly what we were hoping for. We made many visits to the farm over the year leading up to our day, and Bob and Barb were always helpful, receptive, flexible, and always working on something for their farm and the families celebrating there! The addition of the indoor washrooms and kitchen area allowed for more accessibility for our guests and helped the flow of our day. We also had fresh lavender honey done up by Bob and Barb as part of the favours for our guests. Bob helped us with décor set-up and was there for anything we needed. We also chose Barb to serve as our officiant, and we are so glad we did. It was special for us to have her officiate our ceremony - she was organized, open, had an approach that was calm, meaningful, and served us as a couple. It was incredibly helpful to have the space for the whole weekend, so we were able to set-up on the Friday and clean-up on the Sunday. We didn't feel rushed or overwhelmed, and were able to enjoy the process and the whole weekend with our family and friends. Our wedding day felt peaceful, personal, and was exactly what we hoped for :). Our guests have raved about the day and the farm ever since! Bob and Barb are a wonderful couple and The Lavender Farm is a special place for a special day. Thank you so much for everything!

Was here to shoot a wedding ceremony. What a beautiful spot to get married. We got lucky, nice and sunny but not hot in early September. There weren’t any Lavenders when we went but stunning grounds none the less.

I've always wanted to visit one and this farm was only 20 minutes from my house. Very well taken care of property, owned by a nice older couple. I was sad to hear that their shop is closing down however the field itself is well worth a visit. It's $5 to enter and walk around which is well worth it to support all of their hard work. Such a tranquil place. Beautiful for pictures. Highly recommend photographers to come here with their clients!

The Lavender Farm
One of the better rustic venues i have seen. Hot day and not as much air flow in the barn for dinner but the fans around did help. Amazing setting for the wedding we attended.

Just wanted to say many thanks for the tour of your lavender farm and wedding venue. Bob and his family have a beautiful lavender farm with several different varieties from whites to deep purple. Definitely a place you want to visit and check out.
