Cavendish Country Inn & Cottages

2 bedroom cottage was comfortable but not the most up to date. Having 2 pools, play equipment, and a trampoline was great. The pool areas could use a little more upkeep/repairs on the surrounding decks. Large grassy areas were well maintained and the staff were helpful and friendly.

In a nice separate cottage. Two rooms a full bath, kitchen and TV social space. Nice was the deck and BBQ. Everything worked and we had a nice view across the road to the ocean. The staff was great, helped us get our laundry done. The kids parks had swings and things, but may need an upgrade. Pool looked well taken care of, but we didn't go in. They also had a small selection of dvds, kids toys, books - for free on a return when done bases.

Had an awesome stay the location is great and view amazing. Had fun in the firepit and pool areas good community and family feel. Some areas for improvement are wifi (came and went so just stopped using) and late check in/early check out time was a small nuisance. Otherwise would highly recommend

Was great spot for our little family to spend few days in cavendish. Overall cottage was clean and very nice. It had a propane fire place that was posted on the wall just to turn up thermostat and heat would be on. However first night woke up to the cottage being fairly chilly. Gas valve was shut off so that’s why heat did not come on however that issue was resolved for remainder of trip. That was the only big issue we experienced. Would recommend.

Third visit. Fantastic staff, great accommodations and location is perfect. One bedroom has everything needed, iron, hair dryer and kitchen. Always pleased with the grounds and staff. Will continue to book. Thanks for everything.

Annual guys golf trip and given the reviews we decided to try out this place. Overall, place was clean, staff was very friendly and I would recommend this place if you're just looking for a nice clean place to sleep. A few things however worth noting. We were a group of 4 needing to make use of the pull-out couch, but no blankets or pillows were left for the 4th person. Our oven door wouldn't close and one of the burners wasn't functional which we discovered while cooking. The wi-fi is virtually non-existent in the cottage we were staying despite best efforts to connect on various other connection points. All in all, mostly some improvements and upgrades that could be made to make this place even better.

We booked 2 family packages, no vouchers ready for us when we arrived, when we asked the front desk lady was rude and said it wasn’t in her notes so we didn’t get them. Showed email confirmation, had to wait to talk to someone else. Couldn’t get passed that night so had to pay out of pocket for 6 kids to go to sandspit. They were supposed to have them first thing next morning- waited around till 1030 before we got them- could have already been out. Cottages were ok, not as clean as you would expect- mattresses stained very dated. Grounds are not as advertised and leave a lot to be desired! One hot tub broken, other one only open from 5-9, pools need some attention. Overall would not recommend other then location to attractions.

First time here and visiting PEI. A mini honey moon for my husband and I. Absolutely loved it. Room was very clean and so suprise by the extras that were supplied. Plates, glasses, tea towels, dish liquid ,and even a cloth for taking your makeup off. This place was quite, romantic, and a very reasonable price, staff was friendly and informative. Thanks so much we well be back for sure.

We booked a one-bedroom cottage for 4 nights and had the best time staying in Cavendish and now we already wanted to go back. The cabin has everything we need and I really appreciate the attention to detail brought into setting up the place. It's simple but just right which I like very much. I can also see that the cabin is very well-maintained compared to some places nearby in the area and has met our expectations of cleanliness which is one of our top priorities. The bed is comfy and the sheet is clean. The choices for appliances are very well-done as for anything that I have touched or used from the kitchen to the washroom they seem to last for very long and still look new. Before the trip, I read somewhere that the wifi is poor but we had a very stable, high-speed internet connection throughout the trip. It was truly a good price point for the quality we received. As I haven't been to a place this clean, I even doubted if we were the first that booked this cabin for the season and may have benefited from a deep cleaning or something. I hope I was wrong and it has always been this clean regardless of the visit time so anyone who chose to stay here can feel the same as us. I would also like to thank the owner and the team there for their efforts as I know the place was impacted by Fiona last year, they could choose to cut corners to save from the damage but I feel that they didn't. I can't be happier to find a home away from home that brings the same values and I will come back again as I love the people and the island very much.(I originally wrote this post on TripAdvisor but I also like to re-post it here).

We had an outstanding week with family and friends at these cottages. They called on our check in day late morning to inform us we could check in early if required. The cabin was great, with plenty of supplies to last the week and fresh towels delivered daily if needed. There were playgrounds for the children to play on and a large pool which we visit everyday.A few minutes from anything you’d like to do in Cavendish, near beaches, restaurants and theme parks.Lastly the staff were so friendly here, can’t thank them enough for a relaxing week of vacation
