I took a dining etiquette training session from Lynda. She is extremely friendly, honest, courteous, and professional. She drove all the way to Mississauga to conduct my one-on-one training session on a snowy day. She even drove me back home. In addition to her excellent tips on formal dining, she also talked about other important aspects such as body language, introductions, and formal clothing. I found the session to be extremely useful and informative and would highly recommend her services to anyone looking to improve their personal and professional image.

Instead of taking a holiday this year, I decided to invest in myself. Lynda helped identify what colours and shapes work best for me, not only in clothing, but also hairstyle, makeup, and accessories.Normally, I dread shopping and I tend to make do with whatever I have but I never feel very put together. After the closet audit, Lynda helped me to determine what pieces were missing that would help to complete the outfits I already had. These tended to be bigger and more expensive items (shoes, purses, coats) that I fear choosing on my own in case I get home and realise they don’t work with what I have or they’re not very stylish. We found almost everything on the list (even a dressy winter coat in August!) and even though I have less in my closets now, I feel like I have more because it all works.It can be a vulnerable experience having someone give you feedback on your appearance and go through your closet, however, throughout the whole process Lynda was supportive and respectful. If I didn’t want to part with an item or purchase something she suggested, she honoured my decision. She considered me as a whole person and helped me to find clothes that worked within my personality, lifestyle, and budget. Since working with Lynda, my confidence has grown and I have received almost daily compliments on how I look. The experience also had the unexpected result that packing for a weekend away became very easy because now everything I own coordinates and I didn’t have to stress about having a different pair of shoes of sweater for each possible outfit.It's been a very positive experience overall and I continue to enjoy the results- as much as I would have if I had spent the money on a vacation instead. When Lynda did my colour and style analyses, she clarified a lot of questions about the use of colour, the right styles for my body shape, and the use of clothing and accessories to project the right image in the workplace.I had always thought I could wear any colour, and I didn’t give much thought to emphasizing what looked BEST. Lynda really taught me to be more discriminating. Also, because I was quite small and young looking I had a tendency to buy clothes that looked “cute”, and I didn’t realize that this was working against the professional image I wanted to project.The wardrobe audit was extremely useful – I got rid of all kinds of clothes that I wasn’t wearing. I also got rid of a lot of cheap trendy clothing that didn't suit me or my professional position.Lynda really taught me a lot about getting good quality clothing instead of the low quality things that you find in most shopping mall stores. Now my wardrobe looks and feels much better, and the pieces that I’ve got are excellent quality that last a long time, saving me money in the long run. Also, she is a great personal shopper and she finds awesome accessories and jewellery, plus great deals on clothing that I could never find on my own. The time and money I save by not doing this myself more than compensates for the cost of the service.The best testimony is the fact that I subsequently retained Lynda again and again for various services.
