I got to experience a properly working DBOX seat. It was great. Snack counters have slow service, unfortunately.

I usually go to colossus however we decided to do Yorkdale cineplex instead. I had to take my 8 year old to the washroom and only 2 stalls were clean enough for use. They were absolutely disgusting especially for being in a mall like Yorkdale. The staff are young and very unprofessional and seem too be having social time instead of the upkeep of the theatre. I had to let a manager know that the washrooms needed to be attended too. It wasn’t even busy!!!! I will not be returning.

I went to Yorkdale mall to see Evil Dead in Ultra AVX expecting the surround sound to be loud I was disappointed the volume wasn’t there for the jump scares and the the floors where so sticky it’s like they don’t know how to clean and I thought the ac was great until half way through when it got warm you would think they would have high standards with the reputation at Yorkdale mall totally disappointed. I should have asked for a refund

I went to see a movie today for the first time in five years. The employees were very friendly and professional. The pop corn was fresh and delicious. Drinks were ice cold as they should. The theater was clean everywhere. The seats were very comfortable. The picture and sound were perfect. Had a great experience that made me think why I don't go to the movies more often. Thank you to everyone working there.

You see the trailer for a new movie, interested you get tickets. Who wouldn’t love the movie theatre experience, you go out with some expectation of overpaying for food but you tell yourself it’s worth seeing a movie in theatres just a small trade off.You sit down in your spot, showing up earlier than you thought you would. And start munching on your popcorn. After sitting through loud ads for awhile it’s now 10 or so minutes past the listed starting time and the ads still roll, the family of 5 with three young kids beside you makes noise, throws food around and the kids don’t stop talking.The man in front of you to the right browses Facebook with his phone and n maximum brightness, no staff to care even though this guy is at the front and very accessible/easy to see when walking in.The group of teens behind you don’t stop talking either, dropping stuff behind you none stop, and shining their phone flashlights to open a bag of chocolates or gummies mid climax in the story.One of the parents of the family beside you decides that your drink is theirs and starts drinking your pop.You sigh and give up in defeat. You go and finance a tv and sound bar system for 0% interest and both get to watch more movies and also you end up paying less than you would if you went to the theatre.The only one shining lights and drinking your pop is your SO. You enjoy a nice full home cooked meal that costs less than a bag of popcorn at the theatre.Life is better. And you end up saving money.

Amazing theater.. however horrible movie.. the worst ever... if I had 5 hands.. all would've been 5 thumbs downKnock cabin S***t

No AC! This sounds like a first world problem but when the theatre is packed and there’s no air conditioning, it does not make watching a film an enjoyable experience. My chocolate melted and the ice in my coke went away instantly, making my coke watered down. Better theatres out there

Come you guys! Do better! The theatre is disgusting! Some seats are broken, dirty, and the cup holders are dirty and sticky. I’m pretty sure they haven’t renovated since the early 2000’s. Never again.

Cineplex Cinema Yorkdale is great, clean, well kept and organised. Staff are friendly, good quality pics and sound, chairs are comfy, bathroom clean and tidy. Lots of treats and food available. Great idea to purchase your tics on line, less hassle when you get there. Highly recommend this location.

Great location for a movie. Yorkdale mallhas tons of parking. Indoor and outdoors. Very welcoming and fun. Not so crowded when we came. Great place for kids , family and friends. Lots of shops to enjoy. Freely squeezed and tea shop is at the main floor. Also the Indigo shops.
