Castlegar Cabins, RV Park & Campground

Stayed here with my family in our travel trailer for a couple of months in the fall. Great location, clean facilities, friendly and accommodating staff, even had a little off leash dog run to keep the pups happy. Would recommend

Amazing owners. Beautiful campground in a great location. Very clean with showers and other amenities. Several of us had a pot luck on the deck of the pub and played music and sang.

Place has been taken over by a company to house its employees during a shutdown. Campground lacks ambience and warmth. Would give it ZERO STARS if I could. Host was efficient and utilitarian.

I have spent both an extended time in my trailer and a shorter stint in one of Wylie and Kim’s cabins. I was comfortable, welcomed, and had everything I needed right at my fingertips. Starting with the facilities, they are ample, clean, and easily accessible from anywhere in the park. Whether you are passing through, or staying for while, there is everything you need. In addition to the nice hot showers, a laundry facility, fully equipped RV sites, and wifi that is accessible from all of the sites, there is also a dog run and a sweet hiking trail that takes you up to the ridge overlooking the whole valley, and nice spot to check out the rivers and mountains all around. The campground is also conveniently located for work or play. You can easily get into town, and most of the stores and restaurants within 10 minutes. All of the delivery places I tried while staying here could deliver without any issues. If you’re in town for fishing, getting down to any of the boat launches on the Columbia is a breeze. You don’t have to worry about dragging your boat through town, as highway, which a tree line nicely blocks from the sites, gets you right onto any of the highways that pass around town. If you’re here to ride, The Merry Creek trails are a five minute coast down the road.On top of all this, Kim and Wylie are awesome hosts, and they maintain an amazing campground and RV spot.

A wonderful campground!The property is very well layed out and kept up beautifully.The friendly owners Kim and Wylie were such helpful hosts as well.The sites had accessible hook ups, the washrooms and showers were very well kept up at all times.The convenience of a laundry room and dog park on the property were great for our needs. Conveniently located to city center and fishing spots and hiking trails.We definitely plan to re visit and stay there again in the near future.

My stay was great, Wiley, Kim and Sis were awesome host's, super accommodating, whenever l needed them they just seemed to be there. Don't really understand what the negative reviews are about but l don't think they need to worry cuz I'm pretty sure they will be full and booked regardless, l know multiple people who will be coming back for years to come including myself . Thanks again guy's!

We stayed 3 nights in the Richmond cabin. It was very clean and quiet. The cabin is well equipped for cooking. The deck was a great place to enjoy our morning coffee and the bed was very comfortable! The owners were super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and had many suggestions for things to do!

decent location, but that's where it ends. booked a site with 30 amp service, electrical did not work (reverse polarity), but i guess that's why i have a surge protector. Did not try to contact manager, he was too busy getting high and drinking beer.This is not so much a campground, but a permanent site for most residents.
