What a fab first experience of this store. Shopping for a new puppy and being agog at all the choice.. I was lucky to meet some amazing staff members, Megan and Tom who were beyond helpful, friendly, professional knowledgeable and steered me on my way to get everything I needed including helping me use the tag machine and the Pets at Home app and associated vouchers from the VIP Club.I cannot praise them enough, THANK YOU! Took my 15 year old schi tzu here with an emergency stomach bleed. And again a few weeks before that with a tummy problem. They were very kind. Explained everything thoroughly and as we could understand no posh words we didn't understand. Treated our little lady with kindness and were very gentle. We cannot fault them they were very good. And their prices were fair too. Thank you pets at home

Great place, good staff, and ample parking. The only negative is the pricing. Everything is marked up in store and items are much cheaper online. A huge shame.

Went to get a hamster for my daughter this weekend. Went into store which was immaculate and clean. I got all the accessories (and other pet supplies) I needed and took a look at the sleeping hamsters. I easily found someone who swiftly got me another employee to help me choose my hamster. He was also very efficient and checked over the stairs of my cage, he also got a second opinion and then we were good to go. He was super nice and put more bedding than required in my carry cage (as my hamster looked like a burier) he also came straight to the till amd served me rather than waiting for the customer already at the till. I have to also say there wasn't a queue at the tills either I was first in line. I always find the staff here very efficient, kind, curious and so very helpful! I will definitely come back again and again as I do!

It had what I needed. Good car park. Has items for all domestic pets & birds/wildlife. Staff ok. Cashier section is in a weird place not by front door like most others.

Went along to a Puppy Party to help socialise my puppy, Bean. Was a great experience for both myself and Bean, would highly recommend! The staff in the store are friendly and helpful.

Took our rabbit down there as it was very unwell male vet had one quick look at him said that’s rabbits for you. He was very uninterested not even a week later our rabbit passed away. Not the first time we’ve had problems with this vet!!!! Avoid at all costs

Really good customer service and advice both on the salesfloor and pay point. Our Jack Russell loves his new harness.
