Caring K9s has amazing trainers! Led by one of the world's experts on therapy dogs, Krista Levar, Caring K9 also trains basic obedience and service dog public access training. Here's my story: I didn't expect my rescue dog to become my angel, naturally alerting me to the onset of my medical condition in time for me to take essential medication. But, as a rescue, my dog was also fearful and reactive toward other dogs while on her leash, overprotective of me, barky, and anxious. Caring K9s trainers helped us, as a team, to overcome these issues. With coaching and training from Krista, Tino, and Sheri, my dog is now able to be calm in public and completely under my control. She passed the public access test and is now recognized as my official service dog. We wouldn't have been able to achieve this highest of training goals without the professional knowledge of Caring K9s. Thank you Caring K9!

Krista is such a dedicated and informative instructor! Her heart for people and their fur babies is clearly demonstrated by providing fun filled, but very informative classes. She desires to help all of her clients to have a healthy and positive relationship with their dogs. Krista’s dedication to deepening relationships between dogs and their owners is second to none. My furry best friend Daisy and I enjoyed all 4 levels of Therapy Dog Training. Her classes are easy to follow, each week building on skills from the week before. Any challenges are met with positive reinforcement and breaking down skills into smaller steps. From beginner puppies to advanced specialty training, I highly recommend Krista and the Caring K9 Institute.

Luna is now in level 4. We have also done the trick class. It’s fun and rewarding, and I would not hesitate to recommend caring k9 institute. The classes are the highlight of my week.
