Kerala Lounge

This Kerala place was too good.. we were looking for some indian cuisine on our way back from the Toronto zoo. And this place seemed to have the menu we were looking for. Kappa and fish curry was too good. Fish curry had very good flavor and went well with the kappa. Portion size was also more than sufficient for 2 of us. We also had chicken fry which had very good flavor. This place is pocket friendly with good food.

After a long time, we had an authentic Kerala food with its correct flavour. The Beef Roast, Kappa and Fish Pollichathi was so tasty. Always keep this quality and taste buds. Will visit again definitely, for trying out the other items in Menu!

Its the best of best. Super tasty food. Try the tasty kappa and fish curry. Good hospitality. They know how to cook real kerala food. This is the best restaurant to have best Kerala food in Canada ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Keep up the good spirit guys

Probably the most authentic Malayalee food I have had in since leaving Kerala. Tastes just like a homemade meal. We ended up trying almost 3/4th of the menu.Mutton curry was quite spicy but delicious. I had tears coming down my eyes and still kept eating and brought leftovers home.Beef roast, chicken fry and fish fry (served in banana leaf) was very delicious. We also got kappa and meen (fish) curry. I was a bit apprehensive before but it was really good- tasted just like amma's food.Appam and porotta was also really great.We also ended up getting a pothi choru (wrapped in banana leaf and malayalam newspaper- much to my amusement). Again super authentic, super delicious and I realized how much I missed manga chammandi.Ran by a family - service was great! Everyone was super nice. Felt like visiting a relatives family.Dont expect going in to find a extra large selection or dessert or lassi. The menu may be on the smaller end but its mighty and curated!

Hello everyone I am writing this review on personal interest as I liked the authenticity of my experience in this restaurant. It’s a new place with a discrete menu but very good at it. I was blown with the beef fry as it would remind you of thattukada beef. On top of it Sulamani was the highlight I liked it so much that I ordered it once again. If you have a craving for proper Kerala traditional cuisine, then this is the place to try in Scarborough. Please do try this place for all Canadian mallus and others too.. thanks

I always wanted to taste authentic Kerala food here in Scarborough and from the time I saw the ads of Kerala lounge, I waited for its opening. I must tell, the wait didn't go in vain. The food was amazing, especially their specialty dish Meen Pollichathu " and the Mutton roast. Such a heavenly feel when I tasted the fish by opening the plantain leaf! Highly recommended. I am going to visit this place every weekend with my friends!!! Please keep up this quality and that's going to take Kerala Lounge to the next level!"

The best Kerala style food I had in Toronto. Though the menu is limited, the items they serve are very delicious and little spicy. The ambiance is not so awesome but who cares about that when you get good food. Especially Kappa and Fish curry...
