View is great, but not an easy trail. Would recommend to head back at the beach point instead of the whole trail.

Lion’s Head Lookout Trail Parking
Great hike with nice view point all along the way. Try to find one the of less busy virw point before, as the main one was crowded a bit.The difficulty is moderate on All Trails and there are a lot of rocks you have to go through. Wear good shoes.

Lion’s Head Lookout Trail Parking
This trial is great! Easy enough for children to do. Excellent family outing. Photos are great! Parking is paid and VERY poorly managed however. Beware also of the “town people”. Not the friendly type. We were yelled at by neighbours for walking down the road with our children. Park at the community center and walk up to the park. Only 10 mins walk and much better parking. Highly recommended this walk.

Lion’s Head Lookout Trail Parking
Enjoyed the hike to the lookout, even though I think we took the wrong trail and it was a bit arduous, it was worth it for the view of the bay. I noticed that the trail we took last year is now closed, so we got a little confused honestly.

Highly recommend this hike!Keep going until you see the lions head lookout sign!The ones on the way are just viewpoints! They are not the main lookouts!

Lion’s Head Lookout Trail Parking
Easy hike in…to a spectacular view! We parked by the school ($30 to park for the day) and took the short walk to the trail head. Lots of signage and maps to help with navigation. We packed a picnic and because of the full day of parking pass, left our cooler of food in our car and headed to the beach (short walk away). Little cafes in town are also close by, or grabbing snacks at the local grocery store are also a great options. Highly recommend the hike and views.

Beautiful view. Relatively easy but rugged hike. Definitely wear solid, supportive shoes.

Lion’s Head Lookout Trail Parking
Make sure you book your parking space, as the parking is not that big and during seazon is usually packed. The trail is nice, you have to mind your steps as many roots are there, but overall enjoying. The views are spectacular.

Lion’s Head Lookout Trail Parking
Hard to get parking. But nice thing is that you can try to find parking at lions head arena if you don’t have reservations. And also it has a shuttle bus to take you to trail starting point and also it takes to light house and marina in a loop from lions head arena. Not that much hard trail but surely takes lot of water.
