Bear Creek Gardens
Most reviews focused on the garden during day time. However, this garden hosts the annual Surrey's Light Festival during the first 3 weeks of November to get you ready for the Christmas festivities. Nice walk around the garden to enjoy the light decoration. Best part is that it is free. Make sure you wear good waterproof shoes on a wet rainy day since you will walk into puddles off the main path for some pictures.

No entrance fee to the garden! Its a small garden and could take upto 30 minutes to check out all the plants. But it will entice you to sit down and enjoy the beauty of garden.

Beautiful free public garden with some public art installations. The garden is open year-round but it’s better in the spring and summer when the city plants hundreds of flowers throughout the park.

Truly a natural wonderland, Bear Creek Provincial Park is situated in the Central Okanagan Basin on the west side of Okanagan Lake.The park features lakeside camping, over 400 metres of sandy beaches and 5 km of spectacular, well-marked hiking trails. A picturesque canyon has been carved into the bedrock by Bear Creek tumbling onto a cottonwood-lined delta.This park is extremely busy during the summer season and reservations are required to camp here. For your convenience, during the summer season the park has a concession located at the gatehouse and managed by the park operator.

Very busy on weekends (especially in the summer with the farmers market directly outside) but great food. Nice to have indoor and outdoor dining options.

Bear Creek Gardens
The Bear Creek Gardens are very well maintained and are an amazing place to walk through. It’s surrounded with amazing scenery, and is always a sight to see. The art there is great too. Only issue is some paths that are slightly uneven.
