The food overall is excellent. Suggest the sashimi for customers. The fried rice is always fantastic, my favorite dish to order in this store. The overall services are satisfactory. The servers, except for the male server, probably the owner, always reach out to ask and get the tea for customers. I gave out 4 stars only because of the male server’s attitude, which was kind of arrogant.Plenty of parking is available for customers. Do not need to worry about parking. The pricing is not cheap, just to let you know. It’s around 70 per person for average spending.

Overpriced for what it’s worth. It was really nothing special. The items on the menus was different than some other restaurants, but I didn’t enjoy the food much. Spent about $200+ for 4 people. Still wasn’t satisfied. There’s def better Japanese restaurants in Vancouver… so better to spend your money in Vancouver.

Small and intimate little Japanese sushi restaurant located in Richmond. Was in the YVR for a quick girl's weekend getaway and stumbled upon Kyabia after googling Japanese restaurants. Kyabia had great ratings so we decided to give it a try and we were so glad that we did.We were seated rather quickly considering we didn't have a reso. The restaurant isn't very big so I would recommend a reso but you can always try your luck like we did.At Kyabia, there is a tablet on each table and you submit your order electronically. We ordered a roll, some sashimi, Nigeria and press sushi. Our good came fairly quickly and EVERYTHING was delicious!!! The sashimi and nigiri were like butter. So smooth. No fishy taste or lingering old fishy taste. There wasn't a single thing we ordered that any of us were like this is kind of meh".I loved this place and would definitely go back my next time in the YVR area. I should say it was a bit pricey but in my opinion

Food was extremely average for the price.I enjoyed the sukiyaki and the sashimi was ok but everything else was a miss. The saba oshi was a major disappointment; the rice was mushy and the saba was extremely dry. As for the tempura, you can tell from the photo that the batter is not good and also the sweet potato was a little undercooked. Based on all their high ratings, maybe we just didn’t order the right things but I will likely not come back again.

Rather expensive for the quantity of food in each dish. The sashimi was fresh and the presentation was great, the geoduck sashimi had the just right amount of crunch; the aburi sushi set was great, and the grilled squid is delicious. Didn't love the fish liver, but overall a delicious meal. Service was quick and ordering through the tablet was easy enough. Service is available in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, the waitress that served us knew the Japanese names of the dishes and the different types of fish well. Would recommend with a minor caution on cost.

Had a quick dinner here on the way from the ferry to the airport. The service was great, and the food was very good. The assorted sashimi was a bit expensive, but the quality and selection made it very much worth it. Highly recommend eating here if you get the chance.

Service is worse than I expected for its price range. Sashimi is not that fresh. Will not come again. Seat is also not comfortable.

If you're a fan of sushi and looking for a great place to satisfy your cravings, then you definitely need to check out this amazing sushi shop! As soon as you step inside, you'll be greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that will make you feel right at home. One of the standout features of this sushi shop is the quality of the fish. The sushi is incredibly fresh and has a melt-in-your-mouth texture that is absolutely delicious. If you're a fan of aburi, then you'll definitely want to try the version here - it's one of the best I've ever had!But it's not just the sushi that's amazing here - the service is also top-notch. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, so if you're not sure what to order, they'll be more than happy to offer their recommendations. My daughter is a picky eater, but she absolutely loved the aburi sushi here. It's definitely a must-visit spot for sushi lovers, whether you're a seasoned pro or just getting into this amazing cuisine. I highly recommend this sushi shop and can't wait to go back again soon!

The sashimi was good and fresh. The cooked items were only average. Service was good. Price was slightly above average.
