I interviewed three companies for a Heat Pump install. Matt was the only one to notice the high strain placed on the furnace fan due to the high MERV rated filter in use. He recommended a 4 wide filter for superior filtering and less motor strain. He recommended a Two-stage Rheem heat pump that came within my budget.And to my pleasure

Our hot water on demand unit died and Matt was able to get a replacement brand new unit under warranty and installed by next business day. Very professional and customer oriented . Highly recommend .Matt installed our AC unit a few years ago as well and we are loving it!

I had precision mechanical recommend and install a heat pump and on demand water heater (tankless). I found their information through the greener homes grant website. Matt came to the house to inspect our existing HVAC and water heating. He recommended new energy efficient products and systems that qualify us for rebates and have so far totally met our needs. Our home is now cool in the summer and we don’t worry about running out of hot water. The crew that installed was conscientious and quiet. They worked late in order to stick to the completion timeline they gave us. They also kept a very clean worksite. If you need new efficient HVAC systems, these guys can help you.

We have had Matt and his team at our home twice over the past few months. First they came to repair a malfunction in our high efficiency hot water system (baseboard heat and domestic hot water) that was traced to a part covered by our warranty. We were without heat and hot water for about four days in the cold of winter. It could have been a lot longer if not for the effort of the PG team to get the replacement part delivered quickly and to get everything back in working order. They worked long into the evenings to get everything fixed, and even upgraded the unit exhaust system and water circulation system along the way. The second time happened a few weeks later when we had a failure that caused the boiler unit to fill with water and spill out all over our utility room. Luckily it occurred and was discovered by us promptly as it was only two days before we were scheduled to leave on an extended vacation. The PG team diagnosed the cause (failed flow switch), dried the system out thoroughly and repaired everything while we were on vacation. They kept us up to date on their progress and made sure that everything was in great working order before our return home. I couldn't be happier with the service we received. All the team members arrived when they said they would, they were courteous and professional, and they were quite happy to keep us well up to date on their progress both while we were there during our first experience and then again while we were out of town. I highly recommend this firm for any of your related needs.

I called 3 places to try and get a certified gas technician to come disconnect and remove my gas stove. I had a good feeling about Precision Gas and hired them. The technician was very experienced and efficient, and he was personable and professional. He had a lot of knowledge and definitely knew what he was doing. I've done several renovations, and it's such a relief when I find a trade person who is good and experienced. The job was done quickly and perfectly. I will be using them again.

We received quotes and interviewed four companies for our Heat Pump and tankless HW install. After meeting Matt, we could sense that he was very capable in his craft and committed to providing the best service to his clients. In fact, Matt and his assistant Matthieu did exactly that, even going above and beyond. They helped us get the best out of our existing ducting system and fixed several additional items as well. The work was done on time and very clean and precise. They were also very responsive, patiently answering all of our questions.Matt also offered to clean the glass on our relatively new gas fireplace and picked up on a major flaw in the glass and the fireplace gas/air mixture setting. Thanks to him, we're seeking to get both fixed within the warranty period.We highly recommend Precision Mechanical and will definitely use them for any future required services.

Matt, Greg and Jay did an excellent job at our house. They were on time, profession and fun. I am very particular about installations and the AC unit they installed exceeded my specific requirements. I could not believe how quickly they installed the furnace as well! I strongly recommend this company as fair and honest people that do excellent work.

Matt and his team performed a great install of a 2 stage variable 100kBTU American Standard furnace and a 50g Rheem water heater for our home in Vancouver. In addition, an earthquake gas valve was installed since they worked on the gas anyways. We had 3 other companies (2 large and one medium size company) come in to provide a quote. Matt's quote was better and since Matt was doing the install too, he provided a much better explanation of what needed to be done, he also didn't suggest any short cuts. I was home when the installation was done and checked whether Matt and his team was doing the work well. He brought two additional staff and they arrived on time, worked hard over the 1 1/2 days, ensured we had heat and warm water at end of day one by working into the evening on the first day. They tested the install, connected the furnace with my Nest, provided a great explanation on how the three components worked. Since the install I saw a very considerable drop in gas costs and there have been no issues with any of the equipment. Matt helped afterwards with the Fortis rebate which was nice. Matt suggested to install a Perfect Platform, a box that raises the furnace so that air flows easier into the furnace. While skeptical at first, I think it was the right decision as after reading more on it it is better to provide air to the furnace from the bottom instead of the side. That platform also allows for a big fat air filter that can be easily accessed. Overall a great install and crew. I never heard of the company prior but American Standard referred me to him. Originally, I wanted to go for a bigger size company and not a smaller one like Matt's. Matt has good genes as he looks younger than he is but after spending about an hour talking about the quote and install, I quickly realized he has a lot of experience. I trusted my gut when I we had to decide on who to install and I have no regrets at all. I have recommended him to other people and I would only write this review if he truly did a great job. [Update Jan 2020: now it’s already a year later after the install. No issues and still happy. During the year there was indeed a drop in heating costs and the American standard furnace and water heater perform well. I replaced the air filter twice. What I did do before the install was to have the ducts cleaned and run the old machine to get dust out. When the new furnace came in it was so strong it sucked more dust out but after that not much more. It’s been super easy to replace filter. Also one thing that Matt suggested turned out well and that was to have the exhausts run through the chimney instead on the side of the house. It really reduces the noise from the exhaust.]

We’ve used Precision Gas for several projects over the years and each time we are even more amazed at their quality of work and attention to detail. Matt is a true professional who’s commitment to quality and service is unsurpassed. I called on a Sunday to ask a question about our old thermostat. Matt showed up a couple hours later, inspected our furnace and then replaced the thermostat. Above and beyond!
