I’ve been going here for years, and my hair always turns out amazing. I’m pretty sure Jamie is the best hairdresser of all time, but really the entire team is great. They are kind, helpful, friendly, and always make me feel welcome. I’ve gone in after cutting/dying my own hair and screwing it up, I’ve gone for complicated 3.5 hour long colour treatments, and never been disappointed. Will honestly never go to another salon unless they close. Thanks Hairbenders!

I've always been a problematic client, either hairstylist don't listen to what I want, did their own thing or highly expensive. Which has left me frustrated to the point I learned to cut my textured hair. I had a friend recommend Jesse at HairBenders and all I can say is she's changed the experience for me, it was overall amazing. I'm so happy with my hair, that she has turned me into a faithful and timely customer.

Tiffany is fantastic. You won't find a more caring stylist in all Alberta! On top of being a great human, she's a talented stylist, too! Curly hair, straight hair, cuts or colours, she does it all!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Highly recommend. This ones for the guys out there, If you’re wanting a classy permed mullet then this is the place to go! Tiffany did such an amazing job with my hair and made my first perm experience an amazing one! Super professional while also fun too! This over all experience exceed my expectations. Thanks again, Will be back for sure!

I had booked a haircut appointment with them and due to injury I had to cancel the original appointment and move it next week. When I went there on the appointment day, I came to know that the person with whom I spoke on the phone did not put me in the system and hence as per them I had no appointment. I had to leave work early for my appointment and they did not do anything to rectify the situation, instead booked me for 2 days later. My appointment was with entry level stylist and they offered that if wanted it the same day, I can take it with senior stylist whose fees will be 50% more than what I was paying originally. How can you expect a customer to pay more when the error was on your end? Definitely not happy with their response after wasting someone else’s time.

Honestly not impressed!!! I had a small undercut that needed to be cleaned up and made a tiny bit bigger to make sure ally hair fit up in a bun. I called and asked the receptionist to book me with someone experienced in undercuts and that did not happen. I sat down and explained exactly what I wanted and she seemed very sure of herself so I felt comfortable. Then at the end she asked me so feel it and I honestly had no hair left. She too the cut to the middle of my head! There's no hair back there at all and her fade" was terrible. I kept it cool and asked if this was her specialty and she responded by saying no but she's done a couple. Why would the receptionist book me with someone that has only done "a couple before" when I asked for someone experienced???? This is appalling to me that the receptionist booking my appointment took such little care in this. Normally I wouldn't write a review about a mishap with hair. You can always see someone else and have a colour correction or cut. However this is not something that can be fixed. There is so much hair gone that I can't go back and have it altered. Nor can I magically grow hair overnight. I am very disappointed that the receptionist didn't put more thought into who she put me with as opposed to just going with who was available. I'm also very disappointed that the hairstylist did not communicate more to me. Maybe stopped partway through and asked me if that was high enough. I simply think she kept making mistakes and had to take it higher and higher. This is ridiculous. If you are going to the salon

I always come here to get my hair done by Savannah. No one understands my thick hair like she does and I swear she has magic hands! I love everything she’s ever done to my hair. The salon is always so clean and the receptionists are always very friendly and accommodating.

I wanted to leave an excellent review for Hairbenders for their continuous help and comfort in doing my hair for grad & prom. My hair got so many compliments, I felt confident and the appointments were fast to fit with the awkward timing of grad and last minute changes. A huge huge thank you to Tiffany, Meikel, Natalie and Dani for making my grad year so special. (And for ensuring my hair stayed together all night through dances!)
