Hello I did my course with fac the written part wasn’t a problem but I did need extra help understanding the guns loading and proper usage which I was not given enough time with them and my training of them ,i kept asking for help but with 2 instructors with a class off twenty was set up for failure with me, once she told me I had failed the gun part I had told her I had asked numerous times for extra help but was not given it and the female instructor said she helped me many times, I have no need to lie I’m not a liar but was made out to be one, now I’m out my hard earned money and they do not care.Regards Bryan dinis

I took both the non-registered and registered course with Lynn, Gerhard and Nick. All three individuals are great, Gerhard is a good teacher and Lynn is an engaging presenter. Although the days were long (required by law), they kept the class exciting and informative. I learned a lot over the weekend with them.I may have been the worst student they have had- my car broke down on the weekend I registered for and I was unable to attend the class. They allowed me to re-schedule for no charge. Then on the weekend that I ended up attending, a family obligation came up suddenly and I needed to get out early on one of the days. They took me aside to help get me out a bit earlier when they didn't have to.I highly recommend FAC!

I took both the restricted and the non-restricted course with Lynn, and Gerhard they where both great instructors and presenters.Both courses where thorough and cover all the material, as well they make sure to give you enough time doing exercises and handling the guns; additionally they where great at handling inexperience and/or nervous students.I can't recommend this course enough, specially is this is your first time around firearms.

It’s been a while since finished course. Overall course was fun and inspired. I would give 5 stars for the course itself and female instructor. However, I suggest you, whoever the owner is, to train that male instructor be more respectful. Knowing how to use firearms for years is not an excuse to be cocky and rude. Students in the class are all adults. Nobody deserves kindergarten way to be taught. The day in the class I was kicked by male instructor because I wasn’t doing the loading unloading correctly. My finger got pulled when the first time touched training gun only because I didn’t put finger at correct position. Don’t you think it’s better to use your mouth first but not your force?

I have lived in three countries and taken many courses. I can state without a doubt that this course I have had the pleasure of being a participant of is by far the most thorough and hands on course anyone would have the privilege to be a part of. Safety is not 100% but 300%. With the instructors and the instructions. You will never handle a fire arm incorrectly, ever again, once you are done with this, incredibly, thorough, hands on course.

Great instructors who will teach you the ins and outs of firearm safety and handling.I took the non-restricted course with Lynn, Gerhard and Nick as my instructors/examiners.Although I have previous experience with various firearms, the team at FAC taught me so much more.Well worth it and highly recommended(as well as required by law).

My wife and I participated in the non-restricted course this weekend. The trainers (Lynn and Gerhard) were great! We had plenty of time with various rifles and shotguns as well as ammo, and the material and rules were explained in great detail in order for everyone to understand ( always remember: ACTS and PROVE).We were well prepared for the exam and passed. 5/5 recommend!

Great instructos in Gerhard and Lynnr. I should have reviewed 2 years ago, but better late than never. I highly recommend this academy as while they are very strict, it is to the student’s benefit as you will walk out of there fully prepared to own and operate a firearm.

If you're not responsible enough to show up on time, you don't deserve your gun license. It's that simple.Gerhard was amazing. Course was amazing, even though this is the second time I've taken it (first time was 16 years ago!). Flawless instruction, great training. Super fun class. Thanks again, can't wait for my license to arrive!

As a student with no firearm experience, both Lynn and Gerhard taught safe firearm and ammunition handling and usage, current firearms laws and provided contact information of agencies relevant to the course. Real firearms (no live ammunition) in the Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course were also used. Highly recommend the course to everyone.
