Pillars Salon

I needed a haircut and last minute decided I would get my haircut today. Drove by and saw a salon on Hastings called Pillar and decided just walk-in and see if anyone is available to cut my hair without an appointment. I was greeted by Nitika who was colouring a client's hair. Since I only wanted a dry cut and her client was waiting for the colour to set, Nitika was able to cut my hair in 30-minutes. My haircut by Nitika was perfect! She did a fantastic job and listened to what I wanted. I have wavy thick Asian hair and not everyone knows how to cut that type of hair but Nitika did. I would highly recommend her!

Vanessa at Pillars is a magician. She performed miracles on my skunky permed highlighted disaster and restored it back to a beautiful color and shine. I will be going to her for the rest of my life!!!

I started out as a walk-in client over a year ago and now I’ve been in a number of times. Stylist Dilia’s experience really shows. She’s friendly, professional, efficient t and very talented. I appreciate the way she hones in on what I want with a minimum of fuss. I always feel great when I walk out the door. The spotless and beautiful salon shows that everyone there cares about their work . It’s polished but unpretentious and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended!

It was my first time dying my hair. Lena was so helpful and friendly throughout the whole process, consultation included. She reassured me that everything was going to be alright, and boy was she right! She did an amazing job with the cut, balayage, and styling. I can't be happier that I decided to dye my virgin hair for the first time here!

Overall this is a wonderful salon. I've always had great service both having my hair and nails done. This review is judged only on my last visit.While I was really happy with my hair after and will continue to come back I was just feeling very awkward as I spoke 3 times and I wasn't acknowledged that I spoke.But everyone can have a bad day and I still will continue to recommend as a great salon

Nitika is absolutely wonderful! I first started as a walk-in client for a haircut with her, and she was able to advice me on what works best for my face shape and style. Almost 6 months later, I'm back again, and Nitika has just fixed a very bad hair colour job at almost 1/6th the price! Very affordable for the amazing service they offer - I am definitely going to be a long term client here!

Didn't have the best experience both visits. My first cut, the stylist didn't cut my hair as I asked (and showed pics) then got upset when I asked for a sharper angle - complained they had to redo the entire cut and charged me more than quoted.I had my hair colour done here. Colorist was so sweet and it was discounted because they're a student, but it turned out extremely yellow/brassy. I ended up toning at home to fix the colour...Final verdict is they're charging as though they are a more advanced salon when they quality of cuts is something you'd get at a super cuts" - which isn't a bad thing

Nitika...Nikki to some...worked her magic again today...she is an expert at what she does and takes great care for excellent results...love my hair! Very pleasant salon atmosphere too! Thank you Nitika.

Great place, great environment and some of the best stylists. Big shoutout to Nitika for the brown highlights. Would come back and recommend!
