As city dwellers we can sometimes forget how farms are critical to the existence of cities and that these farms are, relatively speaking, just a short distance away. For $5 you can visit a working farm and see their fantastic crop of beautiful sunflowers (plus corn and oats). It makes for a great outing to see the result of their hard work and nature's magic and it is an amazing photo opportunity too.And they are nice people here. Don't forget to buy a jar of their honey!

They don't answer their phones, they say they are open on their website but when you drive over an hour, you get here and they say Sorry that area is closed". Yeah maybe this is ok in this area but not with me. I'd give 0 if possible.EditI'm sorry I cannot stand businesses who will lie after a review. I just read the response

After we heard that the other sunflower farm was closed, I searched for another farm to visit, and came across Davis Feed and Farm Supply. We left early in the morning and got there when it just opened, and almost had the farm all to ourselves. The field is not very big, but the flowers are beautiful to look at. It was also nice to stroll along the path to fully appreciate the beauty of the flowers and nature. It got busy very fast, and we had the luxury to leave before it became crowded. It is definitely worth of visiting, but remember to go early.

I really appreciate how the family here has opened up their sunflower field for the public to visit, thank you for creating this opportunity. The family has worked hard to maintain and organize crowds during the booms for sunflower fields this year. The fields are large and will create many nice photos for anyone, please do not walk into the sunflower fields and please stay on the given path. Please also don't pick the sunflowers, else you take away from the experiences from others and the hard work of the family. It's a nice casual walk, though be sure to watch for rain and not to wear anything that shouldn't get dirty. Will come back again! Maybe a farmer's stall/market should open up as well adjacent to this good opportunity. We ended up going by a nearby market thanks to a family member describing where it was. It was nice to talk and hear about the history, business and how sunflowers are farmed.

Sunflowers as far as the eye can see. It's so big! We were told that it would take 45 minutes to walk around the sunflower field. There are great spots to take pictures. They even have markers that shows what view you can expect if you go down a particular trail. The great thing is it's just within GTA.There are also garden supplies there. We were able to buy one bag of potting soil for $3.50.

If you love sunflower, this is the place you must visit. They have a large farm for you to enjoy the flower. There are many angles to shoot a video or photo. They usually open last week of July until mid august (depend on the weather, time of flower blooming, so call them or check their website before you visit). Cost is $10 per adult, kids are free. Highly recommend
