What a wonderful experience! We arrived just shortly before 11 on a weekday so ended up with a private cultural guide. She was knowledgeable and informative as we walked around the grounds. We stopped on the deck to learn finger weaving while we enjoyed an egg salad sandwich and Saskatoon berry lemonade.Easy drive and located on the banks of the river.

Oh is very important for any tribal to have something to talk about it and people will need to understand everyone tradition

We made a day trip on the Harley to go visit and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Will definitely stop in again

What a beautiful place. I learned so much, ate the best food ever and met some truly caring staff. Plus to see bison, elk and the horses up close? Truly blessed. Thank you so much for the unforgettable experience.

I loved visiting the Metis Crossing! I took a little tour and learnt so much. I can't wait to come back and explore more of the things/activities Metis Crossing has, all while learning about the Metis people and culture.

Our extended family shared Easter Brunch in the Metis Crossing Gathering Centre. The brunch offerings were wonderfully displayed (especially the Easter Bunny!), and it was very tasty! Real whip cream, fried bannock, fresh fruit and several traditional brunch and Metis fare. It was a beautiful day for a drive from Edmonton, and to walk around the site on a warm spring day was very enjoyable. The servers were awesome and attentive! Thank you for making our Easter so special.

We went to Metis Crossing as part of Canadian Geographic prize. The staff were engaged and knowledgeable Indigenous cuisine was amazing especially the Bannock and Bison stew. The 'experiences' wildlife tour of bison, including spirit bison (white) with new calf was unique experience, Tales by the Metis and archery were exceptional. The grounds and buildings were spotless. I think the best part was how engaged all the staff were in sharing history of Metis culture.

My husband and I went on a couple winter retreat over the Family Day long weekend for my husband's 50th birthday. It was blast. The food is locally source and Metis inspired. The staff was friendly. The guides are very knowledgeable and proud of their culture. Judy, Guide John, Guide Debbie, Laura, Alma are very helpful, courteous and respectful. The facility is new, clean and well maintained. We were treated like a king. I have much more understanding of Metis culture. We won't forget this special trip in the years to come. Highly recommend to anyone (family or couple).

I did not stay at the lodge, but the restaurant was great. Beautiful building worth taking some time with the Exhibits. Did I mention that the restaurant was great?
