Barstow Construction were my contractors for designing and renovating my kitchen, and my master bathroom. Susan and Russ are a lovely couple and I felt very confident with them all along the way. Susan could not have given better design ideas, recommendations, and gentle nudges when I needed them. The selection and scheduling of the trades people was very efficient and effective. Any concerns I had were addressed promptly and well. I am thrilled with the results of the project in terms of both beauty and utility. I have no hesitation in recommending Barstow Construction for building and renovation work.

We renovated our house 6 years ago and couldn't be happier with the results. It is a beautiful house and the quality and attention to detail has served us well. We recently planned to upgrade Mother's Kitchen just a bit.....except as one thing leads to others, we ended up redoing the entire main floor area while putting in a new Kitchen.....rough-in, electrical, plumbing, tiling, fixtures, flooring, new appliances, painting.......you get the idea.   Being in a Strata environment, scheduling was crucial.  Estimated schedule was planned for 7-8 weeks.  It was all done within 6 weeks......Say no more.....Barstow is all you need""

We used the Barstows to renovate our townhouse during COVID. Not only were they extremely respectful of the WorkSafe protocols but all their trades were as well. As for their work, our renovation was on time, and they were realistic with us about what was within our budget and not. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, I relied heavily on their keen eye and knowledge of design. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

It was a delight to work with Russ and Susan of Barstow Construction on our home renovation. They came highly recommended and did not disappoint.We underwent a complete re-do of the main floor of our house (including a total gut of the kitchen) in 2020, arguably a very challenging time as the Pandemic had just shut down much of society. We met to discuss the implications, and agreed to proceed with the reno and take the required safety precautions. Even with the all challenges of Covid-19, and our few scope increase decisions along the way, the reno was completed on time.The Barstows, and their trades were extremely knowledgeable, collaborative, professional, respectful, communicative, and responsive to our many questions throughout the process. My wife especially enjoyed working with Susan on design ideas. We are so happy with the end result, and would not hesitate to use and recommend Barstow Construction for any design and construction management projects in future.
